Latest tool, from Modal Electronics.

The Argon - 8, is a mono - timbral, wavetable - synthesizer, with eight voices.

120 wavetables plus one, additional, PWM - bank and four noise / modulation - banks.

28 wavetable - processor (wave - folder, wave - shaper, phase - shaper, etc.) can be used, to create permutations.

A modulations - matrix, with eight slots (four, of them, are fixed), eleven sources and fiftytwo destinations, will make, your sounds, stand - out.

There are, also, three dedicated envelopes (amp, filter, mod) and two LFO (with tempo - sync).

Four oscillator, per voice, with eight types of modifier (phase mod, ring mod, hard sync..), a 37 - note keyboard, a large OLED, many keyboard - modes (mono, poly, unison, stack..), an arpeggiator, a sequencer, some effects (wave - distortion, delay, reverb, flanger, chorus) and a morphable filter, are completing the Argon - 8.

You can, store, twohundred user - patches (plus threehundred factory - programms), onehundred sequencer -, and onehundred fx - presets.

Right, before Winter - NAMM 2020, Clavia unveiled the Nord Wave 2.

It's a polyphonic, multi - timbral synthesizer, with 48 voices, 4 layer (can be used, as individual engines).

It's generating, it's sounds, via virtual analog synthesis but can, also, use samples and it provides wavetables plus an FM - option with 4 operator.

You can group, multiple layer, so that they can Share, the same settings (filter, envelope, effects, LFO (five waveforms), arpeggiator.

WALDORF - IRIDIUM (LEAK)

Earlier today, Waldorf had a product online, at their official website. The link, is now leading into digital - nowhere.

The product was a new synthesizer, called Iridium and in the words of Waldorf, it is"..the synth engine from Quantum.. ..now available in a compact form."

Iridium, has three oscillator and five, different synthesis - models: Wavetable, virtual - analog waveforms, particle (sampling and granular sampling), resonator and kernels.

Three digital filter, per voice and six enelopes, six LFO, a fourty - slot matrix (modulation), two audio - inputs, CV / gate, trigger - in, clock (in and out), MIDI and USB.

Behringer confirmed, at their official Facebook - page, that they are working on a clone of the Wave by PPG.

They are showing, a prototype, which is fully functional, according to their posting.

KORG - MODWAVE

It's some kind of a reminisence, to the DW - 8000 by Korg.

The DW - 8000 was based, on digital waveforms. Unlike the Modwave, they can't be played dynamically like the wavetables of this new instrument. But they're implemented, in the Modwave.

The DW - 8000 had only sixteen waveforms. The Modwave is containing more then 200 wavetables, with up to sixtyfour waves. You can import custom wavetables.

The Hydrasynth is coming, in two different and new sizes.

The Hydrasynth Explorer is a version, with 37 keys, in mini - size format.

Beside this and the missing MIDI - thru socket, the technical specifications are the same, as the regular keyboard - and desktop - version.

Waldorf is continuing, the Microwave - series. In a contemporary sound - and form - factor. And the new wavetable - hybrid, is just called M.

It's a desktop - unit, without any keys and it seems it can be rack - mounted.

The M has a polyphony of eight voices and a multi - timbrality of for parts, which can be routed to separated outputs.

Each voice is using, two wavetable with independant wavetable generating - modes. There is the Microwave 1 - and the Microwave 2 / XT - mode.
