Behringer, had cloned, the TR - 606 by Roland.

The TR - 606, has a very characteristically sound and was build, by Roland, to support the TB - 303.

The RD - 6, is fully analog (sound - engine), has individual out - puts and patch - points (sync, trigger), MIDI (in / out / thru), a sequencer, distortion and USB.

It's built, into a plastic - case, which is looking, like their TD - 3. So, it's optically, very close to the original TR - 606.

BEHRINGER - 2600

Behringer, has introduced, their 2600, which is a clone of the ARP - 2600.

After, a video, where Rob Keeble (AMSynth) is talking and playing, on an original ARP - 2600, they've released the second part, where we can see their 2600.

It's monophonic and the sound, is very well.

So, let's wait, for the specification - and feature - list, but we can see, that the unit has 3 oscillator (with waveform - mixer), two different filter - types (earlier and later 2600 - filter) ADSR / AR - envelopes, reverb, ring - modulation, envelope - follower, noise - generator, voltage - processor and some more. Probably, all or almost every feature, of the ARP - 2600, including many patch - points.

The SR - 909 is a TR - 909 clone / replica, and it's not clear if there are, fitting, casings available.

On Instagram and Facebook, are short teaser - videos, which are showing some cased prototypes.

The sound is, definitively, relating to the TR - 909.

At their Facebook - page, are offerings for different kits (two, at the moment). The kits, are on pre - order, now.

Behringer has published, a few photos, of modules of a ARP - 2500 clone.

Different, to the original 2500, the modules are in Eurorack - format and with patch - sockets. The ARP - 2500 is using a matrix for patching.

The Kobol was build in the very late seventies, by that french company and is very rare.

BEHRINGER - POLYEIGHT

A few days ago, Behringer was revealing their proptotype, of a clone, of the Polysix by Korg.

But it's named Polyeight and Behringer confirmed, that they were adding two more voices. The Polysix had six voices, as the name is suggesting.

And we can see, that there are a few more features, compared to the original. There is a display, a noise - parameter, more waveforms for the LFO, portamento, a new key - assign mode, aftertouch - velocity.

There is the "classic" - MIDI trio (DIN / 5 pin), which is very cool, USB for modern needings and, of course, the obsolete tape - connector (for saving and loading patches) is missing.

Unfortunately, there is a cooling - fan and the keyboard has a range of four octaves (the original has five octaves).

Date of availabilty and price, are unknown, at this date.

Behringer - LMDrum

Behringer has confirmed, that they are working on a clone, of the famous LinnDrum by Linn Electronics.

Like the original machine, the LMDrum is generating it's sounds an a digital basis, using sampled material.

In contrast to the original, the LMDrum, has the ability to process it's own samples. It's not clear, if samples can be imported, but we can see a recording - input on the back of the LMDrum.

As the development is still in progress somehow, we have to wait for the definitive specifications.

Behringer - MS 5

On Facebook, Behringer is asking if the user are wanting them, to built, their version of a SH - 5.

The SH - 5 was built in the mid - seventies, by Roland. And, of course, it's an analog synthesizer.

As we can see, the version by Behringer, seems almost identical. The control - elements are arranged differently, the case is smaller and it has less keys, but all assemblies can be seen on the front - panel, which is built as tilt - shift.

Behringer - Syncussion SY 1

Behringer likes to ask, their customer, if they're in need of specific instruments, which Behringer is thinking about to produce.

This time, they want to know, if there is a market for their derivative of the Syncussion SY 1 which was produced by Pearl.

The SY - 1, is an analog drum - synthesizer, with two voices, that could be triggered by drum - pads or audio - signals.

The Syncussion SY 1 is able, to produce, smooth and aesthetically sounding percussion in a very intuitive way. Or you can do those typical Disco - sounds, with that machine.

Of course, we're talking about the version by Behringer.

Since Behringer was beginning, to reproduce, some classic and vintage synthesizer, almost every day they've been asked to built a clone of the Jupiter 8.

Now, they confirmed, that they working on it. Surely, there was no doubt about that, at any time, that this will be done.
