Like, the System - 8, the Jupiter - X can work with Plug - Outs (in this case, they're called Models).

The Jupiter - X / Xm, can reproduce some of Roland's classic sounds, like Jupiter - 8, Juno - 106, SH - 101, XV - 5080, JX - 8P, RD - Pianos, TR - 808, TR - 909, CR - 78, TR - 707 and more.

The Jupiter - X, is the full - size version, with 61 - note Keyboard.

The Jupiter - Xm, is the physically shrinked version, with a 37 - note slim keyboard, but with the same, technical, functions. And, it can be used, with batteries and it has, a built - in, speaker.

The Jupiter - Xm, will be available, in September 2019.

The Jupiter - X, will be released, in the United States, in April 2020.

ROLAND - FANTOM 6 / 7 / 8

Roland, has added, three new models to their Fantom - line.

The Fantom 6 has a 61 - note keyboard, the Fantom 7, a 76 - note keyboard and the Fantom 8 has 88 keys.

The Fantom has 16 parts, 512 scenes, more than 3500 tones and more than 90 drum - kits.

A lot, of effects (chorus, delay, compressor, reverb, eq..) and analog - filter.

An MIDI - sequencer, which can also control, external devices.

A sampling - option (16 bit, 44.1 or 48 kHz, WAV / AIFF import), with an 8 - voices polyphony, arpeggiator, chord - memory, controllers (wheels, slider, knobs, pads, switches, lever) and a touch - screen.

MAJELLA - IMPLEXUS

The Implexus, is providing, two ways of sound - generation.

There is, the Complex Generator, which is producing sound with wave - shaping, wave - folding and audio - rate modulation through LFO and envelopes, from a sine - wave.

And it has, the Basic Generator, a simple oscillator, with three different waves (sine, triangle, sawtooth). That can, also, be used to produce FM - sounds.

You can use them together and add, a sub - oscillator, in the mixer section.

The filter is switchable (the labeling, is showing, just one characteristic / curve).

Also, two envelopes (ADSR), two LFO, clock - signal (tap / external - in / MIDI), CV - connectors, stereo - out, headphone, MIDI (in / thru), USB, glide - function, audio - delay and vibrato.

The Prophet 5 by Sequential is back.

The main - features, like two oscillator per voice with different wave - selections, hard - sync, LFO - mode for oscillator 2, filter - and amplifier - envelope, LFO, poly - mod and so on, are the same. MODOR - DR 2

It's a drum - machine, it's digital, it's "sample - free" and it's sounding very nice.

The DR - 2 by Modor, has six voices which are not dedicated to a specific "channel" or slot, so you can use the same instrument up to six times, if in need.

Every synthesis - algorithm, called "drum - model", which is defined as an instrument, has up to twelve parameter.

The sequencer, of the DR -2, can produce up to 128 steps. It has accent, flam (adjustable), tuplet (adjustable), break (immediately silencing a sound), swing and a reverse - function. The sequencer is generating MIDI - notes and "..all 'continuous' sound - parameter accept and transmit Midi Control Changes in realtime."

You can synchronize, this drum - machine, using an analog clock - signal (24 ppqn) or via MIDI - clock.

You can choose, one parameter, of every instrument that can be affected by velocity (beside the volume) and "..you can also choose a separate parameter for every instrument to be altered by a random amount at note start."

The LC - display (16 x 2, green) will give information in latin or cyrillic lettern.

Sequential - Take 5

There was a leak, at a belgium webshop, which was showing a new instrument by Sequential.

It has a full - sized keyboard, of three and a half octave and it's named Take 5.

Seems like it has a polyphony of five voices and it's oscillator are analog.

We can see two oscillator and one sub - oscillator, per voice.

Two envelopes, one LFO (plus one global LFO), mixer - section, filter with resonance and drive, oscillator - sync and FM, modulation - assignment, glide, unison, overdrive, step - sequencer, clock - generator, arpeggiator, MIDI, mod - and pitch - wheel and patch - storage.

And there is Sequential's vintage - button.

The casing - design, of the Take 5, is coming from the same line as the Pro 3.

Price will be, most probably, a few bugs above €1000.
