The Asterion, is a, really huge, fully analog, modular synthesizer.
There are, 3 VCOs, 2 VCFs, 2 LFOs, 3 ADSR - envelopes, 104 patch - points, a mixer - section and no MIDI!
"The new AtomoSynth Asterion is a full modular synthesizer it means all modules are independent and has none internal connection, it needs to be patched to produce any sound.
All sound generation and control signals are 100% analog. Very beautifull raw, organic, "electrical" sound!!
Very rugged, all metal construction, all potentiometers and jacks fixed to the metal pannel.
High quality full sized and well spaced bakelite knobs.
High quality double sided PCB board. all componets set and soldered by hand by humans!!
High quality components, all potentiometers with dust seal.
Patchbay separated from the knobs to avoid messing with the cables.
104 patch points!! 1/4 inch jacks.
It is an old school style instrument, you need an cv/gate keyborad or cv/gate sequencer to control the Asterion."

The new drum - model, is a digital percussion synthesizer, with two layer, a sequencer and some parameter to shape the sound.

BEHRINGER - SYSTEM 100
Last year, Behringer announced, to produce modules in Euro - rack format. It will be a cloned System 100M by Roland.
Now, Uli Behringer, has spoken out, that they will release about 40 modules, in the next 2 years.
"We have now completed the prototype of the first Module, the 110 VCO, VCF, VCA and there are 5 more in the immediate pipeline. We’re currently doing the testing and will hopefully be able to release them for production soon.
We’re planning to launch close to 40 modules over the next 2 years at a suggested retail price between US$ 49 and 99 each. Wouldn’t if be great to see lots of people get into Eurorack and enjoy modular synthesis? Fun Stuff. Uli"

These are 13 MID’s or concept documents we create for every single product as part of our PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) process before we hand them over to our R&D departments for development. We haven’t decided yet which of these modules we will actually produce as it is important that we achieve a certain production volume. As usual do we appreciate your valuable feedback which will give a better indication of validity of these products. All are based on the popular Roland 100M modular Synthesizer from the past and should cost less than 100€ per module."
