(Under MIT)

A modern game engine, built on Valve's Source 2 and the latest .NET technology, it provides a modern intuitive editor for creating games. BUT!

Obviously this isn't the Source 2 code, that's up to Valve to open source if they want. For us Source 2 is providing lower level systems, all our high level systems are C# like the entire editor, networking, scene system, UI, and way more.

Which means, it's partially MIT.

Steam Deck is completely [OUT OF STOCK] and Valve confirmed that the issue is memory shortage. And it's not just price, they simply can't buy any more RAM.

Valve secretly revived Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Yes, CS2 is also available separately, but CSGO is much faster on old machines and players are extremely happy to see it.

Despite such a limited news coverage, the game already peaked at 61K CCU. Sadly, all Steam achievements are gone.

Years ago Valve locked Polish prices to their internal conversion rates. Which by default makes prices in Poland literally the most expensive in the world. Despite that the salaries in the country are far lower than in Western Europe.

If you are making an indie game, set the Zloty price manually, don't use the default one.

Fun fact:

Quick refunds were allowed by Valve only in 2015 after Australian government sued them for lack of refunds. Valve initially stated that they are not in Australia and it will not be a problem, then lost the case, got a fine and new refunds policy that... made them times more popular.

Then Europe joined in and sued them over for regionally locked games based on the original purchase location. And they gave up on it as well. Which made Steam even more popular.

So, Valve wasn't that democratic just a few years ago, they got to this spot by accident.

Valve put CS2 on fire yet again: you lose ammo during the reload. Let me explain β€” even in casual milsims you don't, you just have half-empty mags in rotation.

It's generally compensated with more ammo but the community is concerned that the whole meta of the game will change. Some weapons will be completely obsolete and the gameplay can become too "safe", people will not rush-in instantly.

And rating matches are barely working. People are not used to the new system and lose ratings miserably. So only a few exceptionally good players farm there.

It's a peace statement, I see 😁

Apparently, today's update for CS2 made most of the weapons to have times fewer bullets per life. Even without their loss during the reloading, the number of additional mags is very low.

People speculate that it will heavily benefit newbies, since experienced players will run out of bullets much faster instead of taking the whole enemy's team at 10:1. But pro players don't waste bullets either and know what to pick from the floor, so the median player now got the highest disadvantage.
