The Synth Pro, is a further development, of the Synth 2, by MFB.

MOOG - SUBHARMONICON

Moog's
latest instrument, the Subharmonicon, was a D.I.Y. - project at Moogfest 2018. Now, it's a little bit improved and a built product.

It's semi - modular, with two VCO, four sub - oscillator, two four - step sequencer, four rhythm - generator, dual envelope - generator (VCA / VCF), VCA , LP - filter (- 24 dB / octave), MIDI and a bunch, of patch - points.

"Subharmonicon is a semi-modular polyrhythmic analog synthesizer that employs a 6-tone sound engine and multi-layered clock generator to explore the world of subharmonics, polyrhythms, and the unique relationships they create."

BEHRINGER - MONOPOLY

Behringer
, has introduced, their MonoPoly, which is a clone of the Mono / Poly by Korg.

Behringer, hasn't released, any specs. But, as we can see, it has four VCOs (four different waves), which can be played in a paraphonic mode or unison. There is, the chord - memory function, PWM, two LFO, two envelopes (VCF / VCA), detune - function, cross - modulation, 37 - keys, tilt - shift panel, CV / gate and MIDI (DIN / USB).

Price and availability, are unknow, at the moment.

BEHRINGER - 2500

Behringer
has published, a few photos, of modules of a ARP - 2500 clone.

Different, to the original 2500, the modules are in Eurorack - format and with patch - sockets. The ARP - 2500 is using a matrix for patching.

On the pictures, which were uploaded to Behringer's Facebook - page, are ten modules:

IK MULTIMEDIA - UNO SYNTH (SEQUENCED / IN CONTEXT)

Demo, of the basic sound, of the UNO Synth by IK Multimedia.

Analog oscillator (two of them), VCF, LFO, arpeggiator, sequencer (with modulation - sequences), delay, "performance - effects" and MIDI - implementation.

Power is only through USB - port and MIDI, is using micro - jacks (2.5 mm). This maybe not bother, if you run it, in a desktop studio. Otherwise, it's not an optimal setting.

BEHRINGER - POLYEIGHT

A few days ago, Behringer was revealing their proptotype, of a clone, of the Polysix by Korg.

But it's named Polyeight and Behringer confirmed, that they were adding two more voices. The Polysix had six voices, as the name is suggesting.

And we can see, that there are a few more features, compared to the original. There is a display, a noise - parameter, more waveforms for the LFO, portamento, a new key - assign mode, aftertouch - velocity.

There is the "classic" - MIDI trio (DIN / 5 pin), which is very cool, USB for modern needings and, of course, the obsolete tape - connector (for saving and loading patches) is missing.

Unfortunately, there is a cooling - fan and the keyboard has a range of four octaves (the original has five octaves).

Date of availabilty and price, are unknown, at this date.

Sequential - Take 5

Now, that the Take 5 is revealed, we know that it is an analog (oscillator, filter, amp. Envelopes are digital - controlled), with a polyphony of five.

The Take 5 has no multi - timbrality. The polyphonic step - sequencer is providing just 64 steps. And there are only 128 user - patch memory - places.

Some cool specs are the variable wave - shape (except sub - oscillator), oscillator - sync, FM, 5 - stage envelopes, self - resonating filter, configurable unison - mode (1 to 5 voices), modulation - matrix (16 slots), digital - effects and an overdrive - circuit.

Also nice, is the factory - mode (or non - factory mode). Using a switch, all parameter are using the front - panel settings.

The Take 5 has the so called vintage - knob, which is producing parameter - variation, so the different voices don't sound exactly the same.

And it is coming with a complete MIDI - trio (in / out / thru) of 5 - pole sockets.
