NVIDIA APP is making your computer slower: games can run faster, if you disable it. It's possible that the reason is FILTERS β€” the basic preset works by default and consumes between 5 and 15% of performance! There are 0 filters in this basic presets, it basically does nothing.

This thing in CS2 is 100K+ polygons. More, than Nathan Drake in Uncharted 4 (which was 90K). This model is present on the new Cache map.

This leaves me doubting if they will be able to release Half-Life 3 in a reasonable and optimized condition.

Monster Hunter Wilds severe FPS drops were traced to a faulty DLC ownership check that constantly runs and heavily burdens the CPU. Testing showed the game runs terribly (20–25 FPS) on accounts with no DLC but smoothly (80+ FPS) on accounts with many DLC items. Bypassing the check dramatically improves performance, indicating an unintentional optimization bug.
