Egg tofu fritters. Possible? Of course. Some sliced ginger, shallots, chillies, spring onion, turmeric powder, cornflour, rice flour, cumin seeds, salt and water. Mix for a runny-thick consistency. Add sliced tofu, gently stir, scoop one by one and deep fry. #CookWithNavaK

Egg tofu fritters.
Ingredients
1 packet egg tofu - slice into pieces (see pic)
3/4 cup besan flour
1/2 tbsp cornflour
1/2 tbsp rice flour
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 chopped fresh red chilli
2 sprigs chopped spring onion
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Water - as needed
Oil - as needed

Method
Except for tofu, water and salt, add the rest of the ingredients in a bowl.
Pour water bit by bit and whisk ingredients to a light-medium
consistency.
Drop in tofu.
Scoop tofu one by one with the batter and fry till crispy and brown in colour.
