โญ•๏ธ If the statement is negative, the tag must be positive. If the statement is positive the tag must be negative.

โญ•๏ธ The tense of the tag is determined by the tense of the auxiliary/modal verb of the statement that precedes it.

๐Ÿ“ Examples

๐Ÿ’งYou haven't seen this film, have you?

๐Ÿฉธ She's a doctor, isn't she?

๐Ÿ’งHe isn't here, is he?

๐Ÿฉธ I don't need to finish this today, do I?

๐Ÿฉธ The bus stop's over there, isn't it?

๐Ÿ’ง They could hear me, couldn't they?

Adding -ful or -fully

๐Ÿ”ถ The suffix -ful can form nouns or adjectives, like plateful or cheerful. People sometimes make the mistake of spelling this type of word with a double l at the end. Note that itโ€™s always spelled with just one -l:

๐Ÿ”ธ dreadful, faithful, skilful, powerful

๐Ÿ”ธ cupful, mouthful, spoonfuls

๐Ÿ”ถ The related ending โ€“fully forms adverbs. Remember that this suffix is always spelled with two lโ€™s:

๐Ÿ”ธ dreadfully, faithfully, skilfully, powerfully
