The Toontown Rewritten team knows they operate in murky waters. Without a licensing agreement from Disney, 11 years of hard work could be shut down at any minute by a Disney lawyer. That’s why they’ve taken extensive steps to try to circumvent any concerns the Mouse House would have, including founding a nonprofit organization to oversee the game; making the game free to play; forgoing advertising revenue; removing NPCs of Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald Duck; and implementing a robust content moderation system to protect young players.
Sounds like they treat the game and their community better than Roblox or other big games for kids.

The MMO received mixed ratings, since it's fairly good, but still a Free 2 Play game with some predatory mechanics. But for THAT kind of game it's above average.
But it's also not a pure MMO, since most of the game is designed for solo players and meeting others is possible in a specifically designed hub-spots.
If you're a GoT fan, try it out before it's too late…

The game director left the company due to the conflict with investors (who started to send orders to other team members without notifying him or other managers).
And when he left, the studio members are seemingly being kicked out without the final paycheck (According to insider-gaming, DIscord, and Reddit)

DreamWorld sandbox MMO, which was crowdfunded on Kickstarter, is now being closed... after 3.5 months of early access!
The game was apparently a slightly twisted scam: Kickstarter + tons of free assets + cheap workers with zero experience + early access in a barely playable state and no servers protection. Not a pure scam, they didn't simply ran away with the money but a complete mismanagement.
It peaked at 56 CCU on Steam and the number of reviews was also about that number. Then online plummeted to just a couple of people.
