Some people don't understand how good the business is... but please, never focus on an AVERAGE salary, median one is more important.

Microsoft lost 12% of its market value in one day: the new financial report proved that unimaginable investments into AI do not pay off and cloud services are not growing either as it used to be a few years ago.

This explains the recent statements by the CEO, who warned that users on average are wasting AI.

While OpenAI is running out of money to burn, NVIDIA is giving up on their $100Bn investment package they kinda announced in SEPTEMBER. Now they will "participate but not with that amount of money".

In private conversations NVIDIA shared that OpenAI is not doing their best and not working hard anymore to really improve the tech. And that every competitor is doing a better job.

The MMO that has been in development for 9 YEARS, then hit early access on Steam, reached 30K CCU, and promised to fix all the issues, is probably gonna be taken down.

The game director left the company due to the conflict with investors (who started to send orders to other team members without notifying him or other managers).

And when he left, the studio members are seemingly being kicked out without the final paycheck (According to insider-gaming, DIscord, and Reddit)

Patrick SΓΆderlund, currently the head of Embark Studios (Arc Raiders), ex-CEO of DICE (Battlefield), and ex vice president of EA, is now also appointed as Executive Chairman of NEXON.

Quite a lot of shoes to wear for one person, I'm impressed!

NACON has no more money to operate its property and trying to settle it with investors. They are the company behind Cyanide (Styx), Daedalic (Deponia, Gollum, State of Mind), Spiders (GreedFall, Steelrising). In total there are over 25 companies, 1000+ employees…
Since Nacon has no budget to burn, they moved the planned presentation two months forward. And promise to fix the budgeting issue.

They are the company behind Spiders, Daedalic, and dozens of other studios around the world. They unified over the years to be more resilient but it kinda didn't work out.

Unity said they're making more money now so the best shortcut to grow even further is to sell and close some of their key assets to "simplify the business".

Supersonic (game publisher) will be sold out and IronSource ad network will be fully closed. They will continue to serve the basic Unity ads.

After their parent company Nacon admited they are out of money, their subordinates followed with the same legal request. Paris-based studio Spiders is perhaps best known for working on the Greedfall franchise. Kylotonn has spent recent years overseeing the…
Since Nacon publishing has no more money and so are its studios, the company just secretly placed Spiders (Greedfall, Steelrising) on sale. If you're interested, here's the lot where you can buy the studio.

Nacon previously acquired Spiders in 2019 after the success of the original Greedfall. Now they forced the team to "make another game to raise their own price before sale". Something is in early development but sources say that the team is rather broken with all that, not inspired by the new chance.

In addition, according to Origami, Nacon Tech (motion capture studio) is also going to be sold. And all physical releases of Nacon games are canceled in North America.

Unfortunately, Gang of Dragon developers' social media pages are vanishing. Even their YouTube is gone.

The studio, founded by the creator of Yakuza game series, lost the funding a few months ago. The publisher NetEase refused to provide extra $44m to complete the game and stopped financing the development since the beginning of 2026.

Instead they proposed the Devs to find a new publisher who will be ready to cover up the initial development and assets + any further operations. If so, NE would happily share the IP. Which is better than nothing but still a horrible deal.

Nacon publishing house was unable to find anyone who can quickly acquire studio Spiders. It was placed on sale a month ago.

Now the company behind Technomancer, Greedfall, Bound by Flame, Of Orcs and Men, and Steelrising, is going to be fully closed. The DLCs are now going to be completed and released by Nacon themselves (no, apparently, they will not due to lack of funding).

Spiders existed for over 18 years and was making soulful AA RPGs. If you missed their games completely, they were similar to Piranha Bytes but from France.

How curious: Microsoft is losing money on nearly everything. Numbers in () are negative values.

Xbox lost 7% of revenue, content and services by 5%, and Xbox devices sales plummeted by 33%. The department is in decline for years in a row. The only 3% boost was back in 2023.

Lords of the Fallen 2 is no longer Epic exclusive. And oddly enough, CI made a deal termination public.

I assume, that Epic Store can help with the initial revenue (both from sales and bonuses) but has a horrible tail (barely any post launch sales).

PlayStation plans (πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅) to continue its investment into Live-Service Games. They don't care that all the previous ones failed, if just one will not, it will pay off. What kind of copium is that?

Marathon now sits at 2800-8300 CCU on Steam and continue to decline. And Helldivers 2 was the only successful multiplayer they released as the publisher. And it didn't cover the spendings on the remaining 15 games that were closed.

Curious one: due to price of space in physical stores and warehouses, selling-out the stock is sometimes efficient. This is why many physical copies on PlayStation were... cheaper.

It's not like this crap will crash on all of us, right?

Crazy enough, Meta is seemingly leading with up to $420Bn of hidden debt vs. $140Bn written on the balance sheet. Have you ever used Meta AI? It's getting harder and harder to find a real Facebook and Instagram users, I'm sure that AI users are even more scarce. How can it pay off?!
