The Wavestate, want's to be seen, as a kind of a successor, of the original Wavestation by Korg.
The Wavestation, is a famous synthesizer by Korg, that was produced, between 1990 and 1994.
Now Korg, is bringing back, this legendary concept, with modern features.
The Wavestate has 64 voices (stereo), 4 layer with vector - control, flexible wave - sequencing options (organized inside of 4 "lanes"), a lot of filter - models (digital), 3 envelopes, 1 vector - envelope, 3 LFO, 2 mod - processor, exponential velocity, release velocity, polyphonic aftertouch (only via MIDI), 2 key - track, program / performance - note count, program / performance - voice count, poly - legato, gate/ gate + damper, arpeggiator, randomize - function, a lot of effects (up to 14 per performance)..

The Pro 3, is again, a hybrid instrument with 2 analog and 1 digital oscillator, which can use wavetables.
The Pro 3, is monophonic / paraphonic, with 3 different filter - models, 3 LFOs, 4 loopable envelopes, 32 - slot modulation - matrix, a 16 x 16 x 4 - sequencer, digital effects, 4 cv - in and - outs.
