Знаменитый фестиваль, с гордостью представленный Центром искусств Университета Квазулу-Натал, собрал поэтов, художников и ценителей культуры. Поэты со всех уголков Африки приняли участие в таких увлекательных мероприятиях, как групповые дискуссии, посещения университетских кампусов и школ, обмен стихами, презентации книг, сеансы открытого микрофона и др.

The South African rugby team is the first team in history to become four-time world champions.
On October 28, the Springboks won the Rugby World Cup grand final at the Stade de France.

The Honorary Consul of the Republic of South Africa to St. Petersburg visited one of the world's most important trade fair for the fresh produce industry Fruit Logistica 2024, which is held in Berlin from 7 to 9 February 2024. Fruit Logistica shows the complete range of products, services and technical solutions from every part of the value chain - whether in seed, fruit and vegetable development or packaging and automation. The fair covers the entire spectrum of the value chain - from the producer to the consumer.
Future fruit supplies and ways to further step up trade between the Russia and South Africa were discussed at the meeting with the Heads of the Citrus Growers Association of Southern Africa (CGA) and the Fresh Produce Exporters' Forum (FPEF).

The brand-new season of Moscow Fashion Week is taking place from March 1 to 8, 2024 at two main venues: at VDNH (Pavilion 75), as part of the ‘Russia’ Expo and at the Central Exhibition Hall 'Manege'. Fashion shows of Russian and international designers will be a part of Moscow Fashion Week. Designers will hold shows within the framework of bilateral cooperation agreements signed at the BRICS+ Fashion Summit.

7 марта 2024 года, в Петропавловской крепости, в музее космонавтики, состоялось открытие выставки проекта «Вселенная BRICS», в которой принял участие Почетный Консул Южно-Африканкой Республики и прочие важные гости, такие как космонавты, дипломаты, представители стран БРИКС, деятели науки, культуры и искусства.
Выставка представляет фотографии городов ЮНЕСКО, находящихся в странах БРИКС, сделанные космонавтами с борта Международной космической станции и фотографами на земле. Всего в проекте было задействовано 41 зарубежный и 48 российских фотографов из стран БРИКС и собрано 600 фотографий из разных уголков планеты.

The BRICS Universe Exhibition
On March 7, 2024, the grand opening of BRICS Universe exhibition took place at the Cosmonautics Museum in the Peter and Paul Fortress. The event was was attended by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of South Africa and other important guests such as cosmonauts, diplomats, representatives of the BRICS countries, scientists, culture and art figures.
The exhibition shows photographs of UNESCO cities located in the BRICS countries. It included photos taken by international photographers and astronauts. In total, 41 foreign and 48 Russian photographers from the BRICS countries were involved in the project and 600 photographs from different parts of the world were collected.
