عن عبدالله بن مسعود، أن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: “ اقرَأْ عليَّ . قال : قلتُ : أَقرَأُ عليكَ وعليكَ أُنزِلَ ؟ قال : إني أشتَهي أن أسمَعَه مِن غيري . قال : فقرَأتُ #النساءَ حتى إذا بلَغتُ :” فكيفَ إذا جِئنا مِن كلِّ أمةٍ بشهيدٍ وجِئنا بكَ على هؤلاءِ شهيدًا” [4:41] قال لي : كُفّ ، أو أمسِكْ . فرأيتُ عينَيه تَذرِفانِ.“ #صحيح #البخاري و #مسلم #حديث ٥٠٥٥ - ٨٠٠

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to me, "#Recite the #Quran to me." I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Shall I recite it to you when it was revealed to you?" He (peace be upon him) said, "I like to hear it from others." Then I began to recite Surat An-Nisa'. When I reached the Ayah: 'How will it be when We shall bring a witness from every people and bring you as a witness against them?' [4:41] (Having heard it) he said, "Enough! Enough!" Ubayy b. Ka'b said: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: ”O Abu' al-Mundhir, do you know the verse from the #Book of Allah which, according to you, is the #greatest?” I said: Allah and His Apostle (peace be upon him) know best. He again said: ”Abu'l-Mundhir, do you know the #verse from the Book of #Allah which, according to you, is the greatest?” I said: Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal (2:256). كان النبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّم أحسنَ النَّاسِ تَعليمًا وإرشادًا لأصحابِه، وفي هذا الحَديثِ يحكي أُبَيُّ بنُ كَعبٍ رَضيَ اللهُ عنه: أنَّ رَسولَ اللهِ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّم قال له: يا أبا المُنذِرِ- وهيَ كُنيةُ أُبَيِّ بنِ كَعبٍ رَضيَ اللهُ عَنه- أتدْري أيَّ آيةٍ مِن كِتابِ اللهِ مَعكَ أعظَمَ؟ قالَ أُبيٌّ: قُلتُ: اللهُ ورَسولُه أعلَمُ. قال: يا أبا المُنذِرِ، أتدرِي أيَّ آيةٍ مِن كِتابِ اللهِ مَعكَ أعظَمَ؟ قالَ: قُلتُ: {اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إلَّا هُوَ الحَيُّ القيُّومُ...}، يَعني #آيةَ #الكُرسيِّ؛ وهذا لأنَّ هَذه الآيَةَ مُشتملَةٌ عَلى عَشرِ صِفاتٍ مِن صِفاتِ اللهِ عزَّ وجلَّ، قالَ: فَضربَ في صَدري وَقالَ: واللهِ! لِيَهْنِكَ العِلمُ أبا المُنذرِ، أيْ: لِيَكُنِ العلمُ هنيئًا لك تَهنَّأ به، والقَصدُ الدُّعاءُ لَه بتَيسيرِ العِلمِ والرُّسوخِ فيهِ.
في الحَديثِ: مَنقُبَةٌ عَظيمَةٌ لأُبيِّ بنِ كَعبٍ رَضي اللهُ عنه.
وفيه: مَشروعيَّةُ مَدحِ الإنسانِ في وَجهِهِ إذا كان فيه مصلحةٌ، ولم يُخَفْ عليه إعجابٌ ونحوُه.
وَفيهِ أيضًا: تَبجيلُ العالِمِ فُضلاءَ أصحابِهِ.
