TON Smart Challenge #4 👥

The TON Foundation has launched the TON Smart Challenge for developers with the tasks on knowledge of the TON blockchain. Participation in the challenge will allow you to consolidate theory in practice, meet new people and also have financial motivation.

List of challenge tasks

1️⃣Find branch of the cell tree
2️⃣Matrix multiplier
3️⃣Find and replace binary substring
4️⃣Caesar Cipher
5️⃣Fibonacci sequence

Each of the tasks has two parts:
⏺ A comment with a description of what the smart contract should do.
⏺ The code of the smart contract with one or more functions marked as testable.

The goal of the contestants is to provide a code that matches the description.

TON Bridge: from TON to ERC20/BEP20 and back 📶

TON Bridge added support for all Ethereum network tokens. Previously, only stablecoins (USDT, USDC, DAI) and WBTC were available for transfer.

At the moment, Bridge offers two bridges from TON: TON-ERC20 and TON-BEP20 — using Metamask wallet. You need also non-custodial wallet for TON (for example, Tonkeeper).

5️⃣ Bridge fees

Using the Bridge will cost at least 5 TON + 0.25% of the amount of transferring coins. For example, if you want to transfer 100 TON, the fee will be 5 TON + 0.25 TON. Please don't forget that you need to have some ETH or BNB (depending on which network you are transferring to) on your Metamask wallet.

tApps Center — a unified directory of bots and web apps 🖼

Last week, The Open Network team introduced Telegram Apps Center, a universal catalog of the TON and Telegram ecosystem of bots and web apps.

The developers' goal is to create a «superapp for everything» with a user-friendly UI. WeChat is cited as an example, where you can access a variety of financial, social and entertainment services in a single interface.

There are three main types of projects in tApps Center:

🔷Bots: all chatbots are collected here, performing any task from sharing basic information and weather forecasting to detecting trading signals or assisting in making trades

🟣Games: services designed to host interactive gaming sessions and tournaments, allowing users to play individually or with friends

🟢Web apps: a new wave of bots with a more sophisticated, web-oriented interface that mirrors traditional websites

The projects are categorized according to their purpose — «Management», «Web3», «Utilities» and «Games». Users can access these applications by clicking the «Open» button.

🤖 The application process, is done through a dedicated moderation bot that prioritizes privacy and security.

🔍 The integration of Telegram Ads and the Wallet Pay payment system further increases the reach and monetization opportunities. A grant program to support the development of tApps is also in the works.

TON Believers Fund initiative approved by the community💎

Crypto enthusiasts from the TON community proposed the initiative of the TON Believers Fund (TBF) project, a special smart contract for Toncoin holders to lock their coins for a period of 5 years. The goal is to amplify the TON tokenomics.

Based on the results of the community survey on the TON.Vote decentralized platform where the community supported the initiative, the TON Foundation will support it by sending 1 million TON from the TON Fund to reward depositors.

How does it work?

⏺Anyone can deposit TON into the smart contract, which will be locked for 5 years. The first 2 years are locked, and the remaining 3 years will vest monthly.

TON raises 8-figure sum from MEXC to make Telegram a Web3 super-app 🌐
