They really did it: Ubisoft founded a secondary company and Tencent bought 25% of its shares for €1.16B. The idea behind the company is that it now owns Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, and some other IPs.
This sounds slightly odd, since the new company worth more than 4 Billion, while the Ubisoft itself is around 2 Billion.
