Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced trailer and screenshots started to appear. The game, according to the internal showcase, utilizes all tricks of the improved Anvil Engine, including weather simulation, water physics, and more.

There will be almost no RPG elements, but the map will have more meaningful and hand-crafted activities and will be more seamless, compared to the old game.

System requirements!

The upgraded game has to be played on DX12 with Ray Tracing on (it can be software lumen-like or fully hardware accelerated).

The most basic GPU to do so is GTX 1660 which may run at 1080P@30FPS. And you need an SSD to be able to play the game, which is expected for a modern open world.

According to Tom Henderson, the upcoming flagship Assassin's Creed game named Hexe just lost 50 employees. They were placed into the internal search system and will be fired if they will not find new roles in the company in a few months.

The game itself is planned for late 2027 and may no longer be a priority. Recently the project already lost several leaders and further decline is concerning. It may be way too similar in its issues to commercially underperforming AC Shadows.

I can't explain you this story since it feels like April Fools, but:

Ubisoft and Unsolved Hunts are making a separate "game" to support Black Flag Resynced. Participants can win by finding a $500K priced skull, hidden in the Caribbean. They have to complete a 10-hour-long prologue and solve 15 puzzles which will take... about five years.

You just need to buy a 35 (digital) or up to 200 Euro (physical premium box) pass to participate in the hunt. Different editions are packed with extra board games.

So, a $500K crystal skull which is not gonna be easily sellable and you may get it if you build a team to solve all puzzles in about five years. And in the meantime you have riddles and board games for up to 4 players?

There's apparently a whole market for such games but it looks like an overcomplicated lottery.
