Microsoft is losing 18% of its market value this month. The reason: AI spendings are not even remotely paying off and despite that going to grow even further. Investors don't believe that the revenue in that area as sustainable and so they are mostly focused on the upcoming loss.

All major tech giants will spend over $700B on AI infrastructure in 2026 alone, their available cash and dividends are shrinking radically.

As we notified earlier, Discord banned people for harmless images. Anything with checkerboard patterns, like UV textures or game inventory screenshots was flagged as child exploitation, and the accounts were removed almost instantly.

Discord says that since May over 8000 accounts were affected by their magical AI moderation and removed, now the company tries to restore them.

After the success of Sir Brante (which was given for free), the studio Schisma Games made a sequel about Prince Jerian and it utilizes a lot of AI-generated images.

2. They denied it and failed
3. They agreed partially
4. Some of their files are literally named CHAT GPT

Using AI for a small studio could be somewhat tolerated. But lying about it and not marking it clearly stated on Steam is a different story.

After a few days of trial and error, I have found the perfect all-around local model (can run from LM Studio or any other environment):

The knowledge is limited to January of 2024 but you can easily feed it with the data. Nearly instant on modern RTX cards, fairly usable even on Ryzen 6800U handhelds.

And yes, that's not a generative AI, just an LLM with fairly good quality to performance ratio and decent tech issues solving skills. This version is unlocked, so you can discuss nearly anything without hitting the censorship wall
