Crazy enough: I believe it has to be marked, but it has not be stigmatized the same way as genAI in AAA games. Steam already allows to set several different types of AI-use cases disclosed in the description + a paragraph of custom text.

For about an hour this ass was published on Aseprite subreddit and quite a lot of people thought it's a real pixel art.
- Every single pixel sized differently
- Random blur and sharpening
- Shadows between bands
And it took people over an hour to get that it was all fake. The author tried to pretend it wasn't, just scaling artifacts.
