If I'd pitch this pipeline in any studio, founders and investors would kill me on sight
I've tried the demo of Scarlet and it's adorable.
The art is expectedly wobbly but ain't causing me troubles so far. The lighting is nice, the world is somewhat interactive and apparently she's the mum of the two kids β so unlike many heroes in such tales, she's mature and generally knows what to do.

Oddly enough, Counter Strike 2 just lost anticheat. The new one is not yet available but the game seemingly even stopped giving VAC bans due to the update. It's gonna be the worst time to play the game.

According to the ex-employee, the studio is long gone but the publisher is still doing some minimal social media support, so a lot of people mistakenly addressed questions to him and his colleagues.

XBOX is testing gaming time for ads. A limited library will be available for a number of XBOX Insider program members. 2 minutes of ads can give them up to an hour of gaming.
1. Ads will play before sessions begin.
2. The core game experience is unchanged.
3. This is optional. Players can choose other ways to play at any time.
Sounds odd to me as ad impressions are much less valuable. But here's the catch: they will only allow a very limited number of premium ads for now to boost the revenue.

Microsoft has confirmed that Windows includes a Global Device ID (GDID), a permanent identifier automatically assigned to a PC during installation.
According to Microsoft, the GDID is used for security purposes,The company says it is not used for advertising or tracking users across apps and websites.
Unlike advertising IDs, the GDID cannot be disabled or reset by users, as it is designed to remain tied to the device for its lifetime.
