Steam Machines starts at $1049/€1039 and is barely able to run high-end games. Basically, no RT, mostly 1080p — not what a living room gamer would prefer in mid 2026. Some games are deliberately targeting RT only on PC and cutting yourself out is a sad choice.

Battlefield Hardline is going dark. That's not "Stop Killing Games" kinda, since the playerbase was already dead 6 months after the release (way over a decade ago). And they are only shutting it down on consoles.

I liked the main new mode where flags are cars and to hold them you have to move fast. And they are destructible. But on PC there were like two working servers and they only worked with premium edition. Ain't gonna buy an upgrade for a dead game.

AMD just released a new driver without Windows 10 support and without a warning about this incompatibility. Adrenalin Edition 26.6.2 removes your current driver, then can't install the new one and leaves your system in a broken state. It's the driver that was supposed to bring FSR 4.1 to older cards.

AMD have tried to pretend Windows 10 is no longer supported at all. When it was pointed out that it is updated for all users in Europe and for commercial partners, they gave up. The fix is coming later and as of now you can disable the update and install the previous version.

NVIDIA messed up the same way a bit earlier which makes it twice funnier.

Blood of the Dawnwalker RPG developers just announced that RX580 and GTX1060 are now their minimum system requirements.

I haven't heard these names in a while. But what they forgot to say is which target resolution are we talking about, which FPS, and such.

The image is obviously handcrafted but sepia makes it look like AI. Can't stop seeing this.

Since Battlefield Portal is made with Godot Engine, they decided to become a platinum sponsor and support the development.
