Just in case, Facebook is still banning thousands of fair users daily, including a lot of indie developers who stayed there for networking.

This spring they acquired and hired an AI startup for moderation and fired most of their human moderators. Now literally every move or no moves at all can lead to your permanent ban.
Over the last few months total bans are beyond imaginable. Many of them lost access to friends and family (who only communicate on FB/WhatsApp), to local groups, communities of universities and so on. You can be a paid user, own a big business on Facebook and spend a fortune on their ads — it will not save you. There's no support to talk to.
There are class action lawsuits already, but they will last for years.

Remember how Facebook AI randomly banned over a million people since may for wrong reasons?
YouTube is now doing the same, but their core pattern is "you are linked to account X, that you never heard of, but it was previously banned". Very often these accounts are from absolutely different regions than the real one.

Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, YouTube, Snapchat, Reddit, Kick, Twitch, and TikTok are no longer available for kids and teens in Australia.
Platforms have to lock access for all users under 16 or get fined. They are already rolling out updates. Teens were and still are fighting for their rights in court, but seemingly losing.
The recent Steam and Itchio censorship was also coming from Australia and the whole movement is ruled by a bunch of Karens. Sadly enough, they are still considering more "social" platforms to ban for kids, including Steam and GitHub (yep, not kidding).

YouTube finally allowed a human being to reply and it was an "all your fault" response. Laughable...
Before that, the company enabled AI moderation which banned over 12m accounts in a couple of months.

YouTube is fighting Ad Blockers again, cutting off the signal if your browser is cutting off the ad. Can be fixed by F5, but still a bit annoying.
Funny enough, YouTube employees were not initially informed last summer about this trick, so YouTube-Julia created a support forum topic where she said they are investigating the issue and will fix it. Now the page only exists in an archive. Because it's intentional. Dumbasses!
