Europe approved Chat Control 2.0 (Light), so it's closer to what the UK did a few months ago.
Instead of a backdoor with 24/7 spying for everyone, they have 24/7 backdoor now to spy on everyone, and that's a big difference! They kinda spy on you occasionally, not all the time.
And provide everyone your ID, of course, “to protect children”. Feeling safe, right?
