LMAO: local food chain Happy was caught spying on workers and consumers with 3rd party AI (which is illegal in Europe).
They fully rejected the issue, told that they only got the proposal but declined it in 2023. But the investigation has internal details, screenshots of their custom UI, and it was all in use with exact locations (identified).
Then their legal team tried to fk Louis Rossmann (if you know you know) and now he will fk them back.

1. Good news: Embark will make more voice lines with their actors. It's hard to know how many, but they are aiming to replace the AI.
2. Whoever wrote this for RPS is an idiot: Embark was always working with human actors. They were using special people to train a very custom model for each of them to cover thousands of objects and locations. Which otherwise would take years to voice. Now they kinda have these years.
Very odd intro, Oisin Kuhnke...

Apparently, even Microslop is not able to push the slop to people. It will reduce AI bloat, will not make AI notifications and settings, and so on.

Yep, even if we leave stylistical choices outside of the discussion, the inability of AI slop to split clothing items properly or shade the face correctly is laughable.
They haven't fixed it on static images and videos, they fail with games miserably.

Damage control from DF is weak and breaking their team apart. Alex, who was not present on the showcase, hates this tech absolutely and the disgust on his face is legendary:

DF Direct Q+A: The Big DLSS 5 ML Debate + Why We Should Have Waited With Our Coverage
It's been a wild few days. When we posted about DLSS 5, we were impressed with the technology and what it was doing - but we posted too soon. When generative AI is so divisive and with the future of games development possibly at stake, we should have takenβ¦

Google stated to change web pages titles in search to make them clickbait.
As The Verge noticed back in 2025, they were already doing it for Discovery and News sections. Now it's in the basic search as well. And as of now users and website owners can't turn it off.
Most of the time the title is getting altered too much and it can even completely contradict the real article.
