Rockstar said Red Dead Redemption 2, which came out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Friday, 26th October, generated over $725m in worldwide retail sell-through during its first three days, making it the second-highest grossing entertainment launch of all time behind Rockstar's own Grand Theft Auto 5, which made over $1bn in three days after it went on sale back in 2013.

That's curious. There was a huge attack on Rockstar recently and they confirmed it is true but said that GTA VI isn't affected. But some data started to show up from hackers:
This is, for example, GTA Online weekly profits with per-platform breakdown. We can notice that PC is behind every other platform. Which explains why GTA VI is not coming to PC right away.
It's crazy that almost $4.5m is coming weekly from PS5 alone. This also explains why they gave 0 fucks about DLCs for the main game.

GTA VI videos were leaked by hackers, tons of them (all from about a year old build). The game looks like MindsEye:
Vehicle physics is stiff, AI of the drivers is nearly absent, cutscenes are ludicrous. This is not on par with GTA V and definitely not looking like something that should be released in 2026.
It looks amateur at best. Let's see how the official gameplay trailer gonna look like but I'm concerned and confused.

Yesterday Take-Two sent legal request to Microsoft and Discord to share their own investigations related to GTA VI leaks. Moreover, they target not only the initial person but everyone from the servers related to him and several influencers who covered the story.
Their legal representative filed this request in New York, now both companies have up to September 4 to share the details or officially reject the request.
Why Microsoft? At least some of the videos were captured on XBOX Series S and among the requirements TT deliberately ask for XBOX account data. Some leaks were also posted on GitHub.
