Riot are trying to talk about technical details, that are important, but not as inspiring as the good backstory and fresh skill-set could be.

#RiotGames and #MasterCard announced their new collaboration: upcoming League of Legends #eSports events will be sponsored by MasterCard. Flags will be replaced with this amazing logo (only for viewers).

Oddly enough, Riot Games gave Hytale back to its creators... despite shutting down the project back in June.

The Minecraft styled RPG will now be developed by the original team again.

Remember that fighting game you don't actually remember? It's not doing good...

The project has been in development for about a decade and has been released on PC and consoles last month after some kind of beta testing.

But something went wrong. Riot ignored Steam and never targeted the broad genre fans, hoping and League of Legends community will sort it out. It didn't.

Yeah, a good take: Riot Games failed with Hytale, they sold it back to the original developer, he released it just a few months later and sold 2M copies instantly.

While Riot's own 2XKO fails to get any traction in the industry and caused them to lay off stuff.
