그래서 사막화에 대한 연구는 중요합니다. 사람들은 고통 받고 있습니다. 한국에서 화석 연료 사용을 여전히 사용하고 있는 이유 중 하나는 정부의 환경 보호 정책에 영향을 미치는 사람들 때문입니다. 삼척 지역에서 석탄 발전소 건설과 같은 부당한 정책으로 인해 한국의 환경이 악화되고 있는 것이 그 예입니다. 이는 한국뿐 아니라 UN 다른 선진국에서도 일어나고 있는 일입니다.❞

My name is Abraham. I'm working for Transparency International through the chapter in Korea. The reason why I am here is that - because - I am against the system that still continues. The usage of fossil fuels. Especially coal and natural gas and gasoline because the usage of these fossil fuels really supports or really increases the impacts of climate change which is very bad for everybody - for the environment - for people - for the plants and animals.

So this research into desertification is important. People are suffering. And also, in South Korea, one of the reason why the use of fossil fuels is still in the system is due to some influence by people who are influencing the policies in the government that protects the environment. So for example in samcheok area, the continuation of the coal plant construction was due to some undue influence and is resulting in the environmental policy in South Korea being weakened. This isn't only happening in South Korea but also in other UN and developed countries.

탈석탄연대는 지난 11월 23일부터 국회 앞에서 탈석탄법 제정을 촉구하는 피케팅을 진행하고 있습니다.

⏰ 일시 : 2023년 2월 26일까지, 매주 월~금 11:30~12:30

🏛 장소 : 국회 앞 (국회의사당역 6번 출구 앞 건널목)

정의당 당사(국회대로70길 7 동아빌딩 5층)에서 탈석탄 피켓을 찾아, 국회 정문 앞으로 이동하여 1시간 피케팅을 하신 다음, 피켓을 정의당에 갖다 놓으시면 됩니다.

탈석탄행동 참가자는 피케팅하는 사진과 국회에 하고 싶은 말을 동영상으로 찍어 실무팀(장하나 활동가 010-3693-3971)에 전해 주세요.
