Pulao Rice
This pulao indeed is a bond between the spices, the magical blend of flavours and the fragrance of basmati rice.

Nava's pulao rice.
Fry 3/4 cup raisins in 4 tbsp ghee.
Remove and keep aside.
Do the same to 3/4 cup cashew nuts.

In the same ghee, fry 1 tbsp ginger paste,
1 tbsp garlic paste,
4 sticks cinnamon,
3 star anise, 6 cardamom and
6 cloves.
Add 4 sliced green chillies. Stir and add 4 cups basmati rice.

Stir for a couple of mins,
tip into rice cooker,
pour 6 cups water (more or less), add 1/2 tsp saffron strands or 1 tsp turmeric powder and season with salt.

Cook, add 2 cups mixed veg and 1 small bunch coriander leaves. Stir and garnish with fried raisins and cashews.

Note: I cooked for a function. Pls adjust for smaller quantity.
Basmati rice is strongly suggested.
Don't over stir rice when adding veggies, otherwise will break up.
