#coffeeshop ( 998 Restoran, Bukit Rimau, Shah Alam - justva distance away from Aeon Big) food today. Why not, street food style in coffee shops can be glitz and glam favourable as well, in a #NoFrill surrounding. Somehow, for whatever reasons it may have, not many stalls were open.

What did we call for -
#indianfood (stall name not up yet, friendly and cheerful person)
Food items -
green pea curry, turmeric cabbage and #fishsambal (RM13.00)
Taste - there’s room for improvement. Nothing punchy for waking up our palates.
#currychercheongfun (Jojo Robert’s Kitchen, humble and smiling service)
Taste - not bad. Flavourful curry and fresh Chee Cheong Fun items (RM12.90)
To wash, Chinese tea (0.80)
Overall, can-lah!
#DineWithNavaK
Nothing like coming back from #holiday #travelling for our #localfood. Our #malaysian #food? For me personally, is simply the best. One of those things I miss when I’m in another country.

Back home, I hit it out to
#restoranrimbayu. Like 15mins drive from #kemuninggreenville on this Sunday.

Ample choices from the individual stalls in this #coffeeshop and since we were here by 11.30am, we were able to secure a table without much hiccups.

What did we order -
#nasikukus #ayamgoreng (RM9.90)
A substantial portion, steamed rice, acar, #sambal and crispy fried chicken.
Verdict - Acceptable. Not the best neither outstanding one though.

#friedkueyteow (RM9.00)
Nice texture, not overly mushy and some seafood & egg added.
Verdict - also, acceptable. Won’t say, it’s a must try.

#drinks - #chinesetea (RM0.70)
Overall, we were glad we gave a go in this #coffeeshop. Because, unless you try, you never know.

#sunday #foodspotting
Landing ourselves for #lunch in
T Place #kopitiam
(32G, Jalan Eco Santuari B/2B, Eco Santuari, Telok Panglima Garang)

Not a #coffeeshop, but a corner lot (open #kitchen) resembling how a pleasant #ambiance, #kopitiam should be.

On the #menu, you get ample choices of dishes, plus a number of #drinks as well.
Personally attended by the lady boss, who also made known which are items not available, we ordered -
- Claypot Yee Mee (RM11.00)
- #friedrice, #egg atop (RM12.00)
- Teh C Kosong (RM2.30)
- Honey Lime Asam Boi (RM5.50)

Portion wise, regarded as #generous for small eaters like us. On the other hand,
taste-wise??
Acceptable, though didn’t win our palates over. So, so.
Doubt we will return again to this #eatery again.
#sunday #foodouting #foodventure -
To Restoran Kian Kiat (Bukit Rimau).
Hard to miss, located across AEON open car park and it’s a corner lot #coffeeshop.

Sufficient choices from the individual stalls and #nasilemak is supposedly a best seller. But, by the time we arrived for our early lunch, finish already.

After a small time walk around the stalls, we settled for
#yeemee (RM12.00)
A sizeable portion for a small eater like me.
Taste wise - acceptable, but not something I will return for

#friedkueyteow (RM8.00)
Just average. Nothing spectacular, according to my hub.

Teh C - Evaporated Milk Tea (Rm3.20)
This one is worthy.
A delight.

Our this week’s
#foodventure
#foodspotting
#foodventure
was in
Restoran Oriental City Cafe
2, Jalan Kemuning Utama
Kemuning Utama
Shah Alam.

Corner #coffeeshop and it’s the wall menu further up across the entrance where you stand and order the items listed. Amongst these, #nasikerabu #nasilemak #chickenrice, varieties of #noodle dishes and #mixrice.

We ordered
#fishballnoodlesoup (RM8.00)
Simplicity in the simplest form
Yet,
delightful. Flavourful clear broth/soup, yellow noodles, #fishballs #fishcake crispy tofu sheets and leafy veggie.

#meerebus (RM8.00)
A hearty portion, noodles and the prerequisite mee rebus items, #egg,
soaking in yummilicious thick gravy.
Slightly sweet to our palates, still, a wonder.

Barley hot (RM2.00)
Chinese tea (0.90)

We were told by the lady owner that their #currymee is a must try. Maybe, next time.
All in all, worth the try.
