Leng Chee Kang (Chinese sweet dessert).
Ingredients: plus, minus or as needed.
Soak lotus seeds,red dates and dried longan.
Soak tofu sheets (buy those for desserts from Chinese shops) separately.

Simmer water with pandan leaves.
Remove leaves, add first batch of soaked ingredients and simmer to soften.
Add lump sugar and tofu sheets, simmer for another couple of minutes.
Remove from heat.

White Fungus Sweet Dessert
step 1
soak fungus (1 hour), rinse thoroughly, tear into pieces and simmer over very low heat.

Step 2
soak lotus seeds and dried longan, just for a while. Add seeds into the simmering white fungus.

Step 3
add soaked longan, simmer for 20 mins. Optional: add soaked kei chi after that.

Adjust sweetness as per taste.
These ingredients can be bought from the Chinese shops or even hypermarkets.

Fa Sang Woo (Chinese peanut sweet dessert).
Roast/pan fry peanuts till crispy, remove skin.
Blend with water for a thick consistency.
Pour in a pot,
add 2 tbsp butter, sugar (as needed),
1 handful soaked
and split red dates.
Heat through and sprinkle roasted black sesame seeds over (optional).
