Scala Developer, Online Retailer

Salary range/month: 10,000-15,000 net PLN/month

We are looking for a mature software engineer with wide experience in Scala that will join the team that develops and maintains a warehouse system. The main goal is to prepare, pack and send ordered goods to end customers minimizing human input. The system consists of several microservices. They communicate mainly over ActiveMQ brokers.

Apart from maintaining an existing system, new features are being developed. Among them there is a gateway that maps and enriches requests from other systems into GM WMS, lets them be processed, and responds to the sender.

Must have:
— Good experience working with Scala 2.12, Java 8
— Knowledge of Scala Cats, Slick, and Play frameworks
— Experience working with databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle
— Knowledge of BigQuery, Spring, Hibernate, and React
— Knowledge of Slick, Squeryl Docker, ELK, and Linux.

DataArt provides consultation and development of the software for the client in both areas of their activities: online sales and creation of the cross-functional retail platform.

The specialist we are looking for will be in charge of the reporting system for a warehouse that provides managers with operational information. The main responsibilities will be to develop and maintain reliable reporting services in the warehouse system.

Must have:
— 4+ years of software development experience
— Experience working with Scala
— Experience working with Kafka/Kinesis
— SOLID and software development best practices
— Knowledge of PostgreSQL
— Proactivity and ability to learn quickly
— Spoken English
