The
This woman is one of the most influential women in Iran

In 1296, Forough Al-Sultaneh Azarakhshi started the first girls' school in the city of Mashhad in his house
At that time, some people considered it forbidden for girls to study and wanted to burn the school. His fight against women's education lasted 5 years. He and some women with him guarded that school day and night armed and did not let anyone destroy or close the school.

This photo is from Tabriz resistance front against Russian aggression, from 1290(1912). This is Maralan fortress which was near Tabriz at that time.
After the presence of Morgan Schuster, the American adviser on financial affairs in Iran, Russia gave Iran an ultimatum to expel Schuster. At first, the parliament resisted (second constitutional parliament), but the government dissolved the parliament and accepted the ultimatum. However, the Russians, who were looking for an excuse to kill the army, marched to Tabriz. The constitutionalist Mujahideen resisted stubbornly. But after five days of successful resistance, fresh Russian armies arrived and captured the city under cannons... The city fell into the hands of the Russians, and what blood did not spill on the ground, especially on the 10th of December 1290(1912), which coincides with Ashura... Black Ashura Tabriz...

These brave men are Tabriz resistance men.
