The new Legacy of Kain: Ascendance got 30% positive on Steam and 58 on OpenCritic. The game was criticized for being poorly-executed retro with zero quality of life features in mind nor variety that modern metroidvanias offer.

You can literally walk, do a simple attack, and jump, that's the whole game. And levels are boring, enemies are boring, you have seen it all in the first five minutes.

Super Mario Galaxy is already at $122m box office in just two days. Exactly as I said before: critics can eat dirt if they don't get entertaining family movies.

It will be over $200m by the end of the weekend. And it was not even a global release, during the first day it was mostly available in the US while other regions caught up a day or two later.
