Eidos Montreal lost it's current boss David Anfossi (who led the company since 2013) and 124 people from the team lost their jobs as well.

The company was NOT working on the next Deus Ex, most of the people who led Deus Ex MKD and Human Revolution parted ways with the studio years ago. Some of them made Unknown 9: Awakening, some Hell is Us, and so on — not the most commercially impressive examples.

That's almost like if BMW's exhaust manufacturer would purchase the whole BMW brand and their production line... 😮
Boris FX is literally a stack of effects and plugins and it seemingly has better chances than the whole Magix or Sony's Software division.
Vegas Pro is probably the fastest video editing app in terms of quick and repeatable workflow to cut videos for social media. Much better in my experience than Premiere Pro and much less featured but still easier to use than Davinci Resolve.

Rec Room sandbox platform is shutting down. They previously fired half of their team and were still unable to find profits.
Billions in valuation and over $145m as the investment round D in 2021 weren't enough to make it commercially sustainable. But to be fair, Roblox still lives at net loss despite $4.9B in profits.
