Frieren fans were mad when the new season came out: they blamed the team for using AI in the ending.
It was extremely confusing for the studio, so they allowed the artist to show off every single fuckin frame. All created by hand with pencils.

The founder of Kyoto Animation Hideaki Hatta apparently died mid-February.
The legendary studio he founded with his wife had strict rules to avoid overwork, but still made it through all struggles and 2019 arson that killed several people.
They are known for Lucky Star, K-On!, Violet Evergarden, Hyouka, Miss Kobayashi, Beyond the Boundary, Nichijou, Haruhi Suzumiya, A Silent Voice, and many others.
The studio was inherited by his son who will follow the family goals, so no changes are planned so far.

Sadly, All You Need Is Kill is not good enough to compete with Edge of Tomorrow (both are based on the same manga). But it ain't as bad as reviews portrayed it — just a simple slice of life, brutal but not truly violent.
And the experimental art style is good but simply not working in favor of this specific story. They'd better follow the manga style instead.

Just watched Ergo Proxy after checking out the story of Manglobe (Samurai Champloo, Michiko & Hatchin, etc) bankruptcy and after someone mentioned that Pino is the prototype of Diana from PRAGMATA.
Surreal and mythical, it has two annoying filler episodes, but the rest is solid and consistent. If you're a fan of Lain and Evangelion, this one may click.
