Behringer - LMDrum

Behringer has confirmed, that they are working on a clone, of the famous LinnDrum by Linn Electronics.

Like the original machine, the LMDrum is generating it's sounds an a digital basis, using sampled material.

In contrast to the original, the LMDrum, has the ability to process it's own samples. It's not clear, if samples can be imported, but we can see a recording - input on the back of the LMDrum.

As the development is still in progress somehow, we have to wait for the definitive specifications.

Behringer - RD 8 Mk 2

Behringer was showing, a second version, of their RD - 8.

They have implemented, a recreation of the BA 662 - chip, which was original created by Roland. The chip is built by Coolaudio, which is also a part of Music Tribe. Behringer is saying, that the sound, of the RD - 8, will be more authentic now.

And Behringer was adding, a few sequencer - features, for a better live - performance. Such as, recording in pattern - launch mode and changing songs, without stopping the RD - 8.

Behringer - UB Xa (Beta Testing Concluded)

Behringer published two videos, of two of their beta - tester, of the UB - Xa.

It seems, that it's sounding very nice. Unfortunately, the UB - Xa has a fan for cooling, like the DeepMind. You can turn the fan off, but the UB - Xa is, maybe, getting out of tune.

Behringer - TD 3 MO

There it is.. The "modded out" - version, of Behringer's TD - 3.

Additionaly, to some of the modifications which are part of the Devilfish - mod, there is an sub - oscillator which can be switched to three different octave - ranges.

Other new features, compared to the regular TD - 3, are filter - FM, adjustable slide - time, sweep - speed, accent - sweep, adjustable attack - time (soft attack), adjustable decay - time (volume / accent), filter - tracking, overdrive, VCA - clipping (Muffler), manual accent - triggering, various new CV - in and - out and you can control pitchbend and the cut off - frequency through MIDI - CC.

You are able to turn, the oscillator, off.
