ROLAND - MC 707 / MC 101

New grooveboxes, from Roland.

They are named MC - 707 and MC - 101.

The MC - 101 is the reduced version, of the MC - 707.

They are looking, like a modern controller, for your DAW and they are fitting in to, the Aira - Series design.

The MC - 707 is a eight - track groove - machine, while the MC - 101, just owns four tracks.

Both machines, can handle and loop, audio - material. Samples, can be imported from SD - Card. The MC - 707 has an external audio - in, usable for direct sampling.

They are, providing, 3000 preset - tones (or greater) and 80 drum - kits (or greater), including TR - 808, TR - 909, TB - 303, Juno - 106 and SH - 101 sounds.

Both devices, have the same effects (multi - effects, eq, chorus / delay, reverb, compressor), a step - sequencer with 64 steps and offering you time - strech and pitch shifting and, of course, MIDI.

The bigger machine (MC - 707) has more connectors (assignable outs, external - in, send / return for external effects..) and can store 128 clips, while the MC - 101 can only store, 64 clips. It, also, can process up to 8 looper - tracks. The MC - 101, can only use 4 looper - tracks.

They own, different, LCDs and the MC - 101 can be, powered, by battery.
