Last Russian attack on Vuhledar not only failed but also resulted into a local Ukrainian counteroffensive. The liberated area stretched up to the point at the quarry North of Volodymyrivka. Russians have started to strike that area in order to stop the advance. #Vuhledar #Ukraine

11/ Vuhledar AO. Russian efforts to capture Vuhledar have largely ground to a halt. This has allowed Ukrainian forces in the Vuhledar area to conduct a series of small-scale counter attacks that have pushed back against what little gains the Russians made in Jan 2023 #Vuhledar

Vuhledar Area of Operations: Elements of the Operational Group of Forces Center (OSV Tsentr) in the Vuhledar Area of Operations will continue to prioritize attacks in the Vodianeregion and north of Vuhledar. Successful control of Vodianeand the industrial area northeast of Vuhledarsets conditions for an advance towards Bohoiavlenka. Attacks along the Sukhi YalyRiver are likely designed to fix ZSU forces in this direction and prevent them from redeploying south to block an advance on Bohoiavlenka. ZSU forces will continue to defend in sector and conduct localized counterattacks as opportunities arise. Ukrainian forces may likely trade space for time to overextend SVRF logistical capability, causing Russian assaults to collapse due to lack of proper sustainment and support. #Vuhledar #Donetsk
