Saffron Rice. 1/4 tsp of dried saffron strands into rice cooker, cooked alongside 3 cups of washed Basmati rice, 4 1/2 cups of water and some salt. Luxuriously tasty. #saffronrice #saffronbasmatirice #ricecookerrecipe #ricecookercooking #CookWithNavaK
Saffron rice - 2 cups washed pusa gold extra long basmati rice, 1/4 tsp saffron strands, a pinch of salt and 3 cups water into the rice cooker.
Cook, fluff up and done.

Cumin saffron rice.
Ingredients:
2 cups rice (rinsed)
1 1/2 tbsp ghee
1/2 tsp saffron strands (alternatively 1 tsp turmeric powder)
salt.

Heat ghee in rice cooker, fry cumin seeds for 2 to 3 mins, add rice, stir, pour 3 cups of water, saffron, season with salt and stir. Let it cook and fluff up.
