I’ve been receiving queries, if the yoga I’m offering is for beginners, or they have to stand upside down, inside out, or split the legs into two.
No, of course not. This yoga, a branch of #hathayoga is known as, coined by yours truly as “Effortless Yoga”, and yes #yoga for beginners.
We will be covering, the warming up yoga poses, and meaningful asanas for body strengthening and for body flexibility. Also, included #mindfulness for mind healthiness and mind wealthiness.
The Tamil session will be the “easy to go” Tamil, and bilingual.

I never said #yoga didn’t stem historically from
Hinduism, apart from
Buddhism and Jainism. My point is, the yoga we teach is not embedded alongside any religion. We embrace yoga for it’s benefits, like #bodystrength, #flexibility, #toning and #antiaging. We also incorporate #pranayama #breathing for regulating our breathe and for body, mind and soul #calmness. Just like when you are at the doctors, you are told the importance of breathing. #Mindfulness too has nothing to do with religion. It is actually for #mindclearance, #mindhappiness, not for the mind to work “overtime” for no apparent reason and for not allowing the mind to act and react like the “monkey mind”, jumping back and forth, to and fro and up and down.
It’s really heart breaking when people accuse that I am a #yoga cheater. FYI, I’m not a yoga quack. I come packaged with yoga credentials, a couple of them, including Master of Science, Yoga. If you want to check my credentials, head to my Facebook page, Nava Krishnan, 22 years as a Lecturer.
