Allie and I just returned to Tomotley from an overnight trip to Atlanta.

A quick 24-hour turn around trip to save costs but I was able in between some litigation work to visit with some very dear and longtime friends for a few hours.

I was blessed to see them.

From the greeting Allie and I received from Thee, Motley, and Crew, you would think we had been gone for a month!!!

It is always good to be back home.

I thank God for the safe trip and that He looked out for the puppies while Allie and I were away. Morgan helped!!!

I kept up with Telegram so I know the world is still upside down.

The world is right side up at Tomotley.

Just finished a 4+ hour meeting with Patrick and Michelle from Michigan. I met with them yesterday at The Inn At Cotton Hall. Today, we met at Tomotley.

They got to meet Thee, Motley, Crew, and Allie who were on their best behavior!!! The puppies have great instincts. They know good people when they meet them.

It was another edifying and informative meeting.

I was blessed by having more time to spend with Patrick and Michelle.

I hope your afternoon has been a blessed one for you too.

On a visit in late March of 2020, a former friend who had moved to South Carolina, wanted to show me around the area where she lived. She stopped at the front gate of Tomotley so that I could view The Oak Alley of Tomotley.

As I looked down the Oak Alley, I could feel the presence of God.

I turned to her and said, “I think God wants me to buy Tomotley.”

I had a comfortable modest home in Atlanta on Greenview Avenue and comfortable modest second home at Lake Oconee in Greene County, Georgia.

I had ALL the shelter Allie and I needed.

I was not in the market to buy another house.

I did not hunt or fish. I did not know how to manage a large tract of property (I later learned Tomotley is 770.7 acres). I had NO experience as an innkeeper or as a farmer much less as a grower of rice. I knew nothing about cows.

I signed a contract to buy Tomotley the next day after I first saw the Oak Alley.

The sale closed on 4/30.

I made Tomotley my permanent home and residence in 2/2021.

By faith, I bought Tomotley and by faith, I made Tomotley my home.

God’s timing is always perfect.

God led me to Tomotley and I followed.

I will remain at Tomotley unless or until God tells me to go to another place.

I love Tomotley.

I love God.

Jesus Christ is God.

In 2023, I buried my sister Diane’s remains under a living oak in a grove in the front yard of Tomotley.

I have made my wishes known to the executrix of my Last Will and Testament that when I depart this world for heaven, that my remains be buried next to the remains of Diane under the same living oak tree.

Diane and I were very close as sister and brother in the flesh.

I want our perished remains to be close together in earth.

I pray Diane’s soul will be together with my soul in heaven.

I closed on my purchase of Tomotley on this date, 4/30, five years ago.

To this very day, I praise God every day for His plan to bless me by anointing me to be a temporary custodian of His incredible creation of Tomotley.

Allie and I were photographed on our first entrance into the main house.

We walked inside Tomotley together in 2020.

We are still together at Tomotley in 2025.

We serve a magnificent God at one of His magnificent creations.

Safely back home at Tomotley!!!

The puppies act like I have been gone for a week at a freemason tribunal in Atlanta!!! It was just an overnight trip to visit with some friends who I love dearly.

Now with the puppies again!!!

I love my puppies!!!
