HOT Tuesday afternoon musings On The Front Porch At Tomotley:
Just finished a 1 hour, 45 minute telephone conversation with a sister in Christ from Cape Cod. I had to alternate between the front porch and inside Tomotley to recover from the sweat!!!
When I grew up in Macon, GA, my home was not air conditioned. My first two cars as a teenager were not air conditioned!!! How did I survive without air conditioning???
Fans in the house and open windows at right. Windows rolled down in the cars!!! I made it.
However, now I am spoiled and will seek air conditioning whenever I can find it on a hot South Carolina day or night!!!
My conversation today with my sister in Christ focused on Jesus Christ and the difficulties we face in this world as born again followers of Jesus Christ. It was an edifying conversation even if hampered at times by the heat and the sweat!!!
I caught some clips of President Trump’s remarks today at the services for the late Lindsey Graham. President Trump is a kind and gentle man with a big heart.
Lindsey was his enemy in 2016-17 and then became his “friend.” Then Lindsey was his enemy again with respect to January 6. Then Lindsey became his “friend” again until his untimely death.
President Trump is truly kind, even to his former enemies. Just look at how many of his former enemies he has appointed to serve him in his 2.0 Administration!!!
President Trump is a kind stable genius.
Wherever you are today, I hope your afternoon and evening has been and will remain cool. Looks like I am in for another HOT one at Tomotley.
