🔸️ Need true repentance! 🔸️
A person may have returned from bad habits that ruin his life. But that too indicates that he is trying to save his life on this Earth. The legal warning on cigarette packs reads, "Smoking is injurious to health." That’s why some people do not smoke! For the same reason, people may not drink or gamble! Many people today do not engage in prostitution, for the fear of contracting "AIDS"!! But, the Bible clearly and systematically says, none of these people "truly not repented from their sin!!"
We were created to live for the glory of God. Without realising this, if we live for our own comforts and self-pride, we are not truly got the repentance and not got the salvation! That is why, Jesus died to redeem us from this sinful way of life (2 Cor. 5:15). For example, if anyone wants to be a great man who is to be respected by others in the church or expecting others to honour him.... there is no doubt, he is living for himself. He could have "whitewashed" himself in some "religious matters." But basically he has no transformation! He may also have spoken Christian languages such as "born again" and "baptism". But his inner personality remains the same.
True repentance is leaving something that God dislikes, leaving his own way, coming to God and to follow God's way!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father! Thank you for knowing the way of life for us, as the 'sinful way' and we thank you for leading us to repent of it! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

"இன்று அவருடைய சத்தம்"

🔸️ முழு ஜீவியமும் கர்த்தருக்கு தருவதே உத்தமம்! 🔸️
தங்கள் பணியிலிருந்து ஓய்வுபெற்ற சிலரிடமிருந்து நான் கடிதங்கள் பெறுவதுண்டு. அவர்கள் தங்கள் ஓய்வு வருடங்களை "தேவனுடைய ஊழியத்திற்கென" அர்ப்பணிக்க விரும்புவதாக எனக்கு கடிதம் எழுதுவார்கள். இது எப்படியெனில், "ஒரு கனவான் உங்கள் வீட்டிற்கு வந்தபோது, அவருக்கு முன்பாக தேனீர் அருந்திக் கொண்டிருக்கும் நீங்கள், முடிவில் டீ கப்பில் இருக்கும் மண்டியை அவருக்குத் தருவதற்கே" ஒப்பாகும்! இவ்வாறாகத்தான், இன்று ஜனங்கள் தேவனுக்குச் செய்கிறார்கள்!! இந்த உலகத்தில் பணம் சம்பாதிப்பதற்கென்றே தங்கள் முழு ஜீவியத்தையும் செலவழித்துவிட்டு, இப்போதோ தங்கள் வாழ்வில் எஞ்சிய "மண்டியை" தேவனுக்குத்தர விரும்புகிறார்கள்..... இது எத்தனை கொடிய அவமரியாதை!!
நாம் வாலிபமாய் இருந்த நாட்களிலேயே நம்முடைய ஜீவியத்தைத் தேவனுக்கு அர்ப்பணித்திருக்க வேண்டும். இவ்வாறு முழு ஜீவியத்தையும் அவரிடம் அர்ப்பணித்துவிட்டு, "அவர் என்ன கட்டளையிடுகிறாரோ" அதற்குப் பிரியமாய் வாழ்வதே உத்தமமானதாகும்!
ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து திரும்ப வருகையில், எண்ணற்ற விசுவாசிகள் மிகப்பெரும் அதிர்ச்சிக்குள்ளாவார்கள் என்பது திண்ணம்! இவர்கள் பூமியில் சம்பாதித்துக் குவித்த பணம் முழுவதும், சிறு பிள்ளைகள் தாங்களாகவே "10-லட்சம்" "10-கோடி" என பேப்பரில் எழுதி "பிஸினஸ்" விளையாட்டில் சேர்த்த 'பேப்பர் பணத்திற்கு' ஒப்பாகவே அவர்களின் ஆஸ்தி, எந்த மதிப்பும் இல்லாதிருப்பதை அந்த நாளில் கண்டு திகைப்பார்கள்! (லூக்கா 12:20). ஆனால், இப்போது என்ன செய்ய முடியும்? 'வாழ்க்கையின் பந்தயமோ' முடிவடைந்துவிட்டது! தாங்கள் சேர்த்துக் குவித்த பிரயோஜனமற்ற குவியல்களைத்தவிர, இவர்களோ "நித்திய மதிப்புடைய" எதையும் சேர்த்துவைக்கவில்லையே! மேலும் இவர்கள் பூமியில் தேடி நாடியதெல்லாம் "மனுஷர் புகழ்ச்சிக்காகவே" இருந்ததால், அவையாவும் நித்தியத்தின் பிரகாசிக்கும் வெளிச்சத்தில், கனப்பொழுதில் "ஆவியாய்" மறைந்து போவதைக் காணும்போது, இவர்களின் ஏமாற்றம் சொல்லிமுடியாததாய் இருக்கும்!!
ஆனால், தங்கள் ஜீவியத்தில் தேவனுடைய சித்தம் ஒன்றையே செய்து, தேவனுடைய மகிமைக்காக மாத்திரம் வாழ்ந்தவர்களோ, அந்நாளில் சொல்லி முடியா மகிழ்ச்சியில் திளைத்திருப்பார்களே!!

எங்கள் பரம பிதாவே! பூமியின் மேன்மைக்கு பெரும் பங்கை தந்துவிட்டு, எஞ்சியதை உமக்குத் தரும் ஜீவியம் வேண்டாம்.... எங்கள் முழுமையும் உமக்கே அர்ப்பணிக்கிறோம்! கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தில், ஆமென்.

"His Voice Today"

🔸️ It's good to give one's whole life to the Lord! 🔸️
I used to receive letters from some people who have retired from their job. They are writing to me, declaring their interest to dedicate the remaining part of their life to "the service of God." This is like, "the time when a guest visits your home, you are drinking tea in front of him and at the end, you give him the tea-dust that remaining in the tea cup"! This is how people today do for God!! They have spent their entire life in earning money in this World and now they want to give the "tea-dust" to God for the remaining part of their lives..... what a deadly dishonour!!
We should have had dedicated our lives to God when we were teenagers. Thus, it is pre-eminent to dedicate one's whole life to Him and desires to live as per "His commands!"
During the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, countless believers will be in great shock! The entire money what they have earned on this Earth, will become worthless, similar to the little children who write on paper as "10-lakh" "10-Crore" and use it in the "business" game; They will astonish on that day! (Luke 12:20). But, what can be done now? The 'life racing' was over!
They have not added anything of "Eternal value", except the useless piles they had piled up! Since all that they sought on Earth was "for the glory of men", their disappointment would be unspeakable, when they see it disappear like a "vapour" within a fraction of second in the brightness of the Eternity's light!!
But those who have done only the will of God in their lives and lived only for the glory of God, will be in ecstasy and will have immeasurable joy that day!!
Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father! We do not want to contribute the major portion of our life for the honour of Earthly things. We dedicate our wholeness to You! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

"இன்று அவருடைய சத்தம்"
நவம்பர் 6
🔸️ நம் மனச்சோர்வை அகற்றும் அந்நியபாஷை! 🔸️
ஒரு நபர் அந்நியபாஷை பேசும்போது, அவருடைய ஆவி (இருதயம்) 'ஏதோ பாஷைகளை' நேரடியாக இருதயத்திலிருந்து தன் வாய்மூலம் பேசுவதையே அறிகிறோம். இவ்வாறு பேசுவது அவருடைய மனதைத் தள்ளிவைத்துவிட்டுப் பேசுவதாகவே இருக்கிறது. இதனிமித்தமாய், அவன் தன் இருதயத்தில் இருக்கிற யாவற்றையும் தேவனிடத்தில் ஊற்றி கொட்டிவிடுகிறான்! அது அவனுடைய மகிழ்ச்சியின் பெருக்கமாகவோ அல்லது ஏதோ மனச்சோர்வினாலோ ஏற்பட்ட பாரமாகவோ இருக்கலாம்!! இதன் மூலமாய், அவனுடைய இருதயத்திலிருந்த 'பாரமான அழுத்தம்' அவனை விட்டுப் போய்விடுகிறது. இவ்வாறாகவே அவன் பக்திவிருத்தி அடைகிறான்! (1கொரி. 14:4).
அந்நியபாஷை பேசுபவர் தனக்குத் தெரிந்த பாஷையை பேசாததினால், ஆண்டவர் மீது தன் முழு கவனத்தையும் வைத்து, தன் மனதை (Mind) உதறிவிட்டு தன் இருதயத்திலிருந்து நேரடியாக வார்த்தைகளைத் தன் வாயின் மூலமாய் பேசுகிறார். அவ்வாறு அவன் பேசுவதின் அர்த்தம் அவனுக்குப் புரியாவிட்டாலும், தன்னுடைய இருதயத்திலுள்ள ஏக்கங்களையும் பாரங்களையும் தேவன் இச்சமயத்தில் அறிந்து கொண்டார் என்பதை நன்றாய் உணர்ந்திருப்பான்.
தன் நெஞ்சத்தில் பாரம் உண்டாகும் சமயமெல்லாம், அந்தச் சுமையை நாம் மேற்கண்டதுபோல் தேவனிடத்தில் இறக்கி வைப்பது ஒரு விசுவாசிக்கு பெலனுள்ள நேரமாகும்! குறிப்பாய், ஒரு விசுவாசியின் மனம் (Mind) தன்னுடைய சொந்த பாஷையில் ஜெபிப்பதற்கு களைப்படைந்திருக்கும் சமயமே, அந்நியபாஷையின் ஜெபம் அவனுக்கு மிகுந்த ஆறுதலாயிருக்கிறது. இது எவ்வாறு என்பதை நம்மால் விளக்க முடியாவிட்டாலும், அந்தக் கிரியையை நாம் உணர முடியும்!
இவ்வுலகத்தில் உன்னதமான கிறிஸ்தவர்களாய் திகழ்ந்தவர்கள், அந்நியபாஷை பேசினார்களோ இல்லையோ..... ஆனால், இவர்கள் தங்கள் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசுவின் மீது முழு இருதயமான சொல்லி முடியா நேசம் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்! பேதுரு, யாக்கோபு, யோவான், பவுல் போன்ற சீஷர்கள் அந்நியபாஷை பேசினார்கள்! ஆனால், நமக்குத் தெரிந்தவரை ஜான்வெஸ்லி, சார்லஸ் பின்னி, D.L.மூடி, A.B.சிம்சன், வில்லியம் பூத், C.T.ஸ்டட், வாட்ச்மேன் நீ போன்ற தேவ மனிதர்கள் ஒருபோதும் அந்நியபாஷை பேசியதேயில்லை! ஆனால், அவர்கள் அனைவரும் தங்கள் ஆண்டவரை முழுஇருதயமாய் அன்பு கூர்ந்தார்கள்! அவர்கள் அனைவரும் சிலுவையின் வழியில் நடந்து சென்றார்கள்! இவைகள்தான் அவர்கள் வாழ்வின் "மையமாய்" இருந்தது! மற்ற அனைத்தும் அவர்களுக்கு இரண்டாவதாகவே இருந்தது!!
ஜெபம்:

🔸️ Speaking in tongues that removes our depression! 🔸️
When a person speaks in tongues, we know that his spirit (heart) speaks 'some languages' directly from the heart through his mouth. Speaking thus, denotes to put his mind at renounce and speaking. Due to this, he pours out everything in his heart to God! It could be the effect of his overjoyed or a burden caused by some depression!! Through this, the ‘heavy burden’ of his heart leaves him. Thus he attains devotional growth! (1Cor. 14:4).
Since the person who speaks in tongues speak the language that he doesn't know, he puts his full attention on the Lord, renounce his mind and speaks the words directly from his heart through his mouth. Even if he doesn't understand the meaning of his speech, he would have realized well that God knows the longings and burdens of his heart.
As we have seen above, whenever there is burden in one's heart, it is the fruitful time for a believer to place that burden on God! Particularly, when a believer's mind is tired of praying in his own language, praying in tongues is a consolation to him. Even if we can’t explain it in words, we can feel the work!
Those who were the high quality Christians in this World, whether they spoke in tongues or not..... they had wholehearted and immeasurable love for their Lord Jesus! The Disciples Peter, James, John and Paul spoke in tongues! But, as far as we know, Godly people like John Wesley, Charles Binny, D.L. Moody, A.B. Simpson, William Booth, C.T. Stutt, Watchman Nee, never spoke in tongues! But, they all loved their Lord wholeheartedly! They all walked in the path of the Cross! These were the "Center" of their lives! Everything else was secondary to them!!
Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father! Thanks for the gift of tongues that will console anyone who is weary! However, this is not the primary matter; give us the grace to live in the way which leads to the Cross! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

"இன்று அவருடைய சத்தம்"

🔸️ நம் ஜீவியமே உலகத்திற்கு வெளிச்சமாக வேண்டும்! 🔸️
ஒருசமயம், ஆண்டவர் தன்னைப் பற்றிக் கூறும்போது, "நான் உலகத்தில் இருக்கையில் உலகத்திற்கு ஒளியாக இருக்கிறேன்" எனக் கூறினார் (யோவான் 9:5). ஆனால் இயேசு இவ்வுலகத்தை விட்டு சென்ற பின்போ, "உலகத்திற்கு வெளிச்சமாக" நம்மையே நியமனம் செய்தார்! (மத்தேயு 5:14). இதுவே எந்த உத்தம கிறிஸ்தவனுக்கும் உரிய மிகப்பெரிய பொறுப்பாகும்!!
இயேசு வெளிப்படுத்தின ஒளியானது, சில உபதேசங்களோ அல்லது போதனைகளோ அல்ல!! அது, புதிய உடன்படிக்கை சத்தியம் கூட அல்ல!! தன்னுடைய ஜீவியத்தையே ஒளியாகப் பிரகாசித்தார். இயேசுவினுடைய ஜீவியத்திலிருந்துதான் தெய்வீக சுபாவங்கள் நமக்கு ஒளியாக வீசியது!! "நாங்கள் வெளிச்சம் பெற்றிருக்கிறோம்" எனக்கூறி, பரிசுத்தாவியின் அபிஷேகத்தையும், பாவத்தின் மேல் பெற்றிடும் ஜெயத்தையும், இன்னும் இதுபோன்ற சத்தியங்களையே நாம் பெற்ற வெளிச்சமாக கூறிக்கொள்கிறோம். ஆனால் அது அல்ல... "ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசுவின் ஜீவீயத்தையே" நாம் வெளிச்சமாக பிரகாசித்திட வேண்டும்!
புதிய ஏற்பாட்டில் இரண்டு முறை "தேவனை ஒருவனும் ஒருக்காலும் கண்டதில்லை" என எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. ஆம், முதன்முதலாக நமக்கு தேவனைப்பற்றி இயேசுவே வெளிப்படுத்தினார் (யோவான் 1:18). இயேசு தன் கரங்களை ஒரு குஷ்டரோகியின் தோளோடு வைத்து அணைத்துக் கொண்டபோது "தேவன் எப்படிப்பட்டவர்" என்பதை வெளிப்படுத்தினார்! அவர் காசுக்காரர்களை ஆலயத்திலிருந்து துரத்தியபோதும் "தேவன் எப்படிப்பட்டவர்" என்பதை வெளிப்படுத்தினார்!...... இவ்வாறாக, "என்னைக் கண்டவன் பிதாவைக் கண்டான்" என்றே இயேசு தன் சீஷர்களிடம் திட்டமாகக் கூறினார். அந்த இயேசுவோ இப்பொழுது பரலோகத்திற்கு சென்றுவிட்டார்!
பிதாவை, இயேசுவினிடத்தில் சீஷர்கள் கண்டதைப்போலவே, "நாம் ஒருவரிடத்தில் ஒருவர் அன்பாய் இருந்தால்" தேவன் நமக்குள் நிலைத்திருப்பதையும், நம் சபையில் தேவன் இருப்பதையும் இன்றும் ஜனங்கள் காணமுடியும்! (1யோவான் 4:12).
சபையில் நம்மை கவனித்துப் பார்ப்பவர்கள் "கிறிஸ்து எப்படிப்பட்டவராக இருப்பார்!" என்பதை நம் மூலமாய் அறியக்கூடியதாக இருக்க வேண்டும்! இவ்வாறு நம் ஜீவியத்தின் மூலமாய் "இயேசுவின் ஜீவனை" நாம் வெளிச்சமாக பிரதிபலிக்க தவறியிருந்தால், நம்முடைய பிரதான அழைப்பிலிருந்தே தவறிவிட்டோம்!

"His Voice Today"

🔸️ Our life should be the Light for the World! 🔸️
The Lord once said of Himself, "I am the light of the World when I am in the World" (John 9:5). But after Jesus left this World, He appointed us "the light of the World" (Matthew 5:14). This is the greatest responsibility of any true Christian!!
The light that Jesus Christ revealed is not some Sermons or teachings!! That, too, is not even the New Testament truth!! He shone His life as the Light. It is from the life of Jesus that the Divine characteristics shone to us!! "We have got the Light"...we are claiming the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the victory over sin and further such truths, as the light that we have received. But it is not ... We must shine the light of the "life of the Lord Jesus!"
It is written twice in the New Testament that "no one has ever seen God." Yes, it was Jesus who first revealed to us about God (John 1:18). When Jesus put His hands on a leper's shoulder and hugged him, He revealed "what God is like"! When He expelled the cashiers from the temple, He revealed "what God is like!" That Jesus has now gone to Heaven!
Just as the Disciples saw Father in Jesus, people today could see God abiding in us and that God is with our Church, "if we love one another"! (1John 4:12).
Those who keeps watching us in the Church, should be able to know "How is Christ like!", through us. Thus if we fail to reflect the “life of Jesus” through our lives, we are deviating from our main calling!
Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father! Not just by Sermons, give us the grace to make our lives as the light which can be seen by others, like Jesus! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

"இன்று அவருடைய சத்தம்"

🔸️ ஒருவருக்கும் கடன்படாத வாழ்க்கை வேண்டும்! 🔸️
எந்த மனிதனுக்கும் தேவன் ஒருபோதும் கடன்பட்டதே கிடையாது! புதிய உடன்படிக்கையில், அவரின் திவ்விய சுபாவத்தில் பங்குபெறும்படியே நாம் அழைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம்!! எனவேதான், "ஒன்றிலும் ஒருவனுக்கும் கடன்படாதிருங்கள்" (ரோமர் 13:8) என நாமும் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம்.
இன்னொருவரிடம் கடன் வாங்கி அவரிடம் கடனாளியாவது நியாயப்பிரமாண சாபங்களில் ஒன்றாகும். இந்த சாபமானது, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திற்கு இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் கீழ்ப்படியாமல் இருக்கும்போது அவர்கள் மீது வந்திறங்கும் என தேவனே கூறியதாகும் (உபா. 28:43-48). ஆம், 48ம் வசனம் கூறுகிறபடி, இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் "சகலமும் குறைவுபட்டு" போகும் பரிதாபத்திற்கே தள்ளப்பட்டு விடுவார்கள்!!
இதற்குமாறாக, இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் கற்பனைகளுக்கு கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடக்கும்போது அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பேன் என தேவன் வாக்குத்தத்தம் செய்த ஆசீர்வாதங்களில் ஒன்று என்னவென்றால், "நீ அநேகம் பேருக்கு கடன் கொடுப்பாய், நீயோ கடன் வாங்காதிருப்பாய்" (உபாகமம் 28:12) என்பதாகும். பிறருக்கும் கொடுத்து ஆசீர்வதிப்பதற்கென தேவையான கையிருப்பு வைத்திருப்பது தேவன் தன் ஜனத்தை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும் விதத்தில் ஒரு வழியாகும்!
ஆனால், நீங்களோ ஒரு "தொடர்ச்சியான" பொருளாதார தேவையில் உழன்று கொண்டிருப்பவராய் இருந்தால், உங்களையே ஓர் ஆவிக்குரிய பரிசீலனை செய்து, என்ன தவறு? என்றும் அது எங்கு நிகழ்ந்தது? என்றும் கண்டறிய வேண்டியது மிகவும் அவசியமாகும்.
"கடன் வாங்கினவன் கடன் கொடுத்தவனுக்கு அடிமை" (நீதி. 22:7) என வேதம் விளம்புகிறது. 'கடன் வாங்குதல்' என்ற வார்த்தை எபிரேய பாஷையில், கடன் கொடுத்தவனுக்கு கடன் வாங்கினவன் "கட்டப்பட்டு இருத்தல்" என்றே பொருள்படுகிறது. பார்த்தீர்களா உங்களுக்கு கடன் தந்தவரால் நீங்கள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு, ஒரு சங்கிலியால் பிணைக்கப்பட்டுவிட்டீர்கள்! தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகள் ஒருவராகிலும் இவ்வாறு பிறரால் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டிருப்பது, ஒருபோதும் தேவனுடைய சித்தம் அல்லவே அல்ல! நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தால் தேவனுக்கென கிரயத்திற்குக் கொள்ளப்பட்டபடியால், எந்த மனுஷருக்கும் நாம் அடிமையாகக்கூடாது என நமக்கு ஆணித்தரமான கட்டளை தரப்பட்டிருக்கிறது (1கொரிந்தியர் 7:23). "சிறைப்பட்டவர்களை" (கடன்பட்டு சங்கிலியால் கட்டப்பட்டவர்களை) விடுதலை செய்வதற்காக இயேசு வந்தார் என எழுதியிருக்கிறதே! (லூக்கா 4:18). இது நம்மை பரவசமூட்டும் நற்செய்தி அன்றோ!

எந்த மனிதனுக்கும் தேவன் ஒருபோதும் கடன்பட்டதே கிடையாது! புதிய உடன்படிக்கையில், அவரின் திவ்விய சுபாவத்தில் பங்குபெறும்படியே நாம் அழைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம்!! எனவேதான், "ஒன்றிலும் ஒருவனுக்கும் கடன்படாதிருங்கள்" (ரோமர் 13:8) என நாமும் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம்.

"His Voice Today"

🔸️ Must have the life that not indebted to anybody! 🔸️
God is never indebted to any person! In the New Covenant, we are called to participate in His Divine nature!! That is why we are commanded, "Do not owe anything to anyone" (Romans 13:8).
Borrowing from another and being indebted to him is one of the curses of the Law. This curse is what God said would come upon the Israelites when they disobeyed the law (Deut 28: 43-48). Yes, as verse 48 says, the Israelites will be driven to the pathetic condition of "being left hungry, thirsty and lacking in everything"!!
Contrary to this, one of the blessings that God promised to Israelites, if they obeyed to His commandments was, "You will lend to many, but you will not borrow" (Deut. 28:12). Having the necessary resources to give and to be a blessing to others is a way of God to bless His people!
But, if you are struggling with a "continuous" economic need, it is very important to find out what is wrong and where did it happen? by doing a personal spiritual review.
Scripture says, "The borrower is a slave to the lender" (Prov. 22:7). The word 'borrowing' in Hebrew means "being bound" by the borrower to the lender. You see, you have been overcome by your creditors and bound by a chain! It is never God's will for even anyone of God's child to be overcome by another, in this way! Because God paid a high price for us through the blood of Jesus Christ, commandment has been given firmly, not to be enslaved to anyone (1 Corinthians 7:23). It is written that Jesus came to deliver the "captives"
(those who were bound with chains of debt)! (Luke 4:18). This is the good news that exciting us!
Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father!
We know that You do not want your children to be in debt; grant us the grace to reform our spiritual condition and free all your children from debt! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

"இன்று அவருடைய சத்தம்"
நவம்பர் 9
🔸️ நான் சுமந்திடும் சிலுவை! 🔸️
"தன்னை வெறுப்பது" என்பது, ஒருவன், தான் தொன்றுதொட்டு ஆதாமிலிருந்து பெற்று ஜீவிக்கும் "சொந்த ஜீவியத்தை" வெறுப்பதேயாகும். இந்த சுய-ஜீவியத்தை மரணத்திற்குள் கொண்டுவருவதே சிலுவையை எடுப்பதின் பொருளாகும். நம் சுய-ஜீவியத்தை நாம் முதலாவதாக வெறுத்துவிட்டால், பின்பு அதை நாம் எளிதில் அழித்துவிட முடியும்!
ஆம், கிறிஸ்துவின் ஜீவனுக்கு நம் சுய-வாழ்க்கையே பிரதான எதிரியாய் இருக்கிறது. இந்த சுய-வாழ்க்கையைத்தான் "மாம்சம்" என வேதாகமம் அழைக்கிறது. நம்மிலுள்ள எல்லாவிதமான தீய-இச்சைகளுக்கும் இந்த மாம்சமே ஒரு பண்டகசாலையாய் இருக்கிறது! நமக்கானதை தேடுவதோ.... நம் சுய கனத்தை நாடுவதோ...நம் சொந்த மகிழ்ச்சியை விரும்புவதோ.... நம் சுய வழிக்குக் செல்வதோ.... போன்ற நம் சுய சித்தங்களை நிறைவேற்றும்படி ஏற்படும் சோதனைகளின் தூண்டுதல்கள் யாவும் இப்பண்டக சாலையிலிருந்தே புறப்பட்டு வருகிறது!!
நாம் நேர்மை உள்ளவர்களாய் இருப்போமென்றால், நாம் செயலாற்றும் நல்ல கிரியைகள்கூட தீமையான நோக்கங்களால் கறைப்படுவதை நாம் காண முடியும். எல்லாம், இந்த மாசு படிந்த இச்சைகளிலிருந்து தோன்றுவதேயாகும். ஆகவே, நாம் இந்த "மாம்சத்தை" வெறுக்காவிட்டால், நம் ஆண்டவரை நம்மால் ஒருபோதும் பின்பற்றவே முடியாது! இதனிமித்தமே, "நம் சொந்த ஜீவனை" வெறுப்பது அல்லது இழப்பது குறித்து இயேசு அதிகமாய் பேசியிருக்கிறார். இந்த வாக்கியம், சுவிசேஷங்களில் 6-முறை திரும்பத்திரும்ப கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது (மத்தேயு 10:39; 16:25; மாற்கு 8:35; லூக்கா 9:24; 14:26; யோவான் 12:25). இவ்வாறு இந்த வாக்கியம் சுவிசேஷங்களில் அடிக்கடி கூறப்பட்டிருந்த போதும், இன்று இந்த வாக்கியத்தின் செய்திதான் 'மிகக் குறைவாய்' 'புரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டு' மிகக் குறைவாய் பிரசங்கிக்கபடுகிறது!!
நம் சொந்த உரிமைகளையும், நம் சொந்த லாபங்களையும், தேடுவதை விட்டுவிடுவதும், நம் சொந்த கனத்தைத் தேடுவதை நிறுத்துவதும், சுய-இலட்சியங்களையும், சுய-ஆர்வங்களையும் வெறுத்து விடுவதும்....இன்னும் இதுபோன்ற சுய-வழிகளைத் தேடுவதை நிறுத்தி விடுவதுமே "நம் சொந்த ஜீவனை" வெறுப்பதின் பொருளாகும். ஆம், இந்த மார்க்கமாய் அல்லது இந்த வழியாய் நாம் செல்வதற்கு விருப்பம் கொண்டிருந்தால் மாத்திரமே, நாம் இயேசுவின் சீஷர்களாய் இருந்திட முடியும்!

எங்கள் அன்பின் பிதாவே! ஆண்டவர் இயேசுவின் ஜீவியமே எங்கள் வாஞ்சை! பரத்தின் இந்த வாழ்வை, எங்கள் சிலுவை எடுத்து, எங்கள் சொந்த ஜீவனை இழந்து, சுதந்தரித்திட கிருபை தாரும்! கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தில், ஆமென்.
