Flex was deployed in mainnet 🚀

Flex — a decentralized exchange on Everscale — was deployed in mainnet. Now the team is working on organizational moments, a public launch is scheduled for September. The launch also requires liquidity in traded pairs.

All bugs found after launch of Flex in testnet are fixed. Initially, access to the exchange will only be through Desktop DApp, but then other options will be added, including the public API.

Flex AMA session review 📋

Agenda

Flex now is about to announce when it will go live
Flex is going to launch with 6 pairs initially: WEVER/EVER, WBTC/EVER, EVER/USDT, EVER/USDC, USDC/USDT, EVER/DAI
• BRIDGE and QUBE tokens will be next to launch

Q&A section

About
Flex unique feature
Most L1 networks are very slow. It practically impossible to build a DEX with an order book. There are some tries with off-chain order books

About token standard
Tokens on Flex have their own interfaces. When you deposit tokens to Flex it just wrapped into internal tokens of Flex and trade it into the book, and when you withdraw it, it just withdrawn to you’re a usual TIP 3.2 tokens

About FLX tokens
• Governance token FLX is needed to participate in DAO. DAO will be launch early next year
Flex is going to share most of its fees with the users (for the 1st year it will be about 80% returned back to FLX tokens)
• After two private rounds there will be an IDO on Everstart and later on the another platform

About future plans
• Metamask and Surf extension will be added in the 2nd version
• Derivatives are coming next year, there will be also marginal trading
• Current version is not showing full capabilities of Flex. When REMP is implemented Flex will become significantly faster

About the teams responsible for the modifications on Flex
Originally Flex was developed by EverX lab. Now it’s independent.

"I’m ok on CEX, why do I need Flex?"
Because using CEX you have a huge risk of exchange hack or just not to get your tokens back

Information for the users
• To add the tokens to Flex you should contact Flex team
• All the fees are explained in the official documentation on docs.flexdex.fi
• The step-by step guide will be published soon

You can watch the demo on using the Flex interface in the attached video.

The unlock of all unlocked KWTs took place ⚡️

The KWT token is the primary token providing liquidity on GEX. KWT can be managed in DeBot. After running GEX, you will be able to stake KWT tokens for 1-5 years and receive KWL tokens. The token can be transferred, and therefore sold "from hand to hand".

In the first year of KWPC existence, nothing happened, since it took a long time to debug Flex before the production version, and KWPC cannot work without Flex. On the AMA session, the team announced that the Flex launch date will be announced soon.

A FLEX DEX description 📈

Zero Block channel has published an interesting post about FLEX.

Here is a cut version.

Flex (Flash exchange) is a decentralized exchange on Everscale that allows users to buy and sell TIP3.2 tokens, including wrapped tokens from other blockchains available on Everscale.

Features:

1. The fastest decentralized exchange with a limit order book. The implementation of fast transactions on the user side is implemented through DeBot.

2. By 2023 the creators promise margin and futures trading. The full Road Map is available here.

3. You have to pay 1.5 EVER for successful transaction as a blockchain commission, and 0,5 EVER for canceled order. The exchange will receive 0.15 % commission from each order for carrying out a transaction.

4. The private round of the future FLX token will be allocated 12% of the whole issue, the IDO — 2.5%

5. The project is closely connected with KWPC and Mitja Goroshevsky

The Flex UI beta testing

FLEX is a fast and secure decentralized exchange with a limit order book, built on Everscale. There are no intermediate layers between the trader and the blockchain here — everything works on native Everscale smart contracts communicating with each other.

Both EVER tokens and popular assets from other blockchains wrapped to Everscale-standard distributed tokens are available for trading.

Today the FLEX team announced the start of beta testing of the web version of the Flex UI and invited users to participate. The web UI is already connected to Flex DEX in the Everscale mainnet.

GOSH + FLEX = GEX ⚪️

GOSH platform announced a partnership with FLEX, a decentralized and distributed limit order book exchange, to launch the GOSH Decentralized Exchange (GEX) on the GOSH Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain. GEX’s user experience is following trading industry standards like in regular exchanges and have some features:

🙂 Gas-free trades. GEX will run as a GOSH native application, thus requiring no gas fees. Like on centralized exchanges, GEX fees are paid in the native currency of the trading pair.

📍 Censorship-resistance. GEX is a software bundle that can be installed locally on a user computer, so no web server is involved.

Performance. Each trading pair price point in GEX is a separate set of smart contracts making it capable of parallel processing of an unprecedented number of trades.

🔒Security. GEX contracts are in the process of Formal Verification by Pruvendo, a member of GOSH DAO, providing the highest level of software security available.

Flex AMA session review ✖️

Mark Feldman and Sergey Zaitsev told about the history of Flex development and the upcoming plans for a decentralized exchange with an order book based on Everscale.

How Flex came about. The idea for Flex originated in the EverX. At its core is the DePool technology (DePool is a contract that contains a hash map of user data). Then the concept of distributed programming was implemented. The Cloud team played a significant role in developing the API and SDK.

First launch. In early 2023, the commercial version of the product was launched, including the web version. Flex operated for 2 months, but was then halted due to a lack of liquidity. Even 2 months in production was an important experience for improvements. This included the development of a new contract for the market maker, whose actions previously consumed excessive amounts of gas.

Updates. Contracts have been radically improved. Now, the queue can consist of tens of thousands of orders rather than just a few hundred. Wallet contracts used by users on Flex have also been optimized.

Advantages of Flex over CEX (Centralized Exchanges)
• No KYC requirement
• Users have full control over their keys and seed phrases
• Developers do not influence user interaction with the contracts

Advantages of Flex over Swipe type DEX
• You can't see the market and its liquidity levels
• Full-fledged trading and speculation are difficult without an order book
Mark🗣As a professional trader, I can say that an order book is definitely necessary

Question: If the exchange cannot block a user, does that mean dirty coins can be traded?
Answer: To list a coin, you need to adhere to a certain level of liquidity. In the future, we will likely use financial monitoring services.

Current status. There is currently a closed investment round to fund integrations and updates for the next 6 months. Integration with TON is on hold — we are closely monitoring. Overall, we are focused on developing the potential of the TVM network capabilities. It is expected that Venom's work will be related to CBDCs, and trading futures and other financial actives will be relevant. Flex could become an important platform for Venom.

Mark🗣 The launch of the Venom mainnet can have a very positive impact on the Everscale network as Everscale continues to be a technological foundation for Venom's development and growth

The next integration in terms of relevance will be with GOSH. Gex will be launched soon. The fact that GOSH will work as an L2 on Ethereum with Everscale technology under the hood gives Flex the potential to become the fastest and most scalable DEX in the Ethereum ecosystem.

Mark🗣 On the current market, technical limitations are not the most crucial aspect. The most important thing is to be closer to liquidity
