Today's meeting in Parliament clearly places Norway in the engagers group, those who will try to work with the Trump administration.
The larger parties clearly don't like the talk about the US not being our most important ally and doubts over Article 5.

Our PM highlighted that strengthening European defense (+the alt plan), goes along both national and European NATO track, where the EU plays an important part for financing, but not an EU defense track.

For the first time, a Swedish Fighter Squadron operating JAS 39 Gripen will deploy to an allied nation as a part of NATO’s Air Policing. From a base in Poland the Swedish fighter jets will patrol and defend NATO air space.
