Norway selling missiles to the US is exactly what we need right now.
Whether it's JSM or NSM to US Navy and Marine Corps, this means there is a need for a capability US companies can't deliver on their own.

@oroborous: If I remember correctly, production of JSM has begun.
There is a missile factory being built in Virginia that also will produce JSM, but the US statement here says production for this contract will be in Norway.

@MidthunJan: Even if we were to do everything right with pay, pensions, workload and other incentives, it will take time to train, retain and recruit back the number of NCOs and officers needed for an accelerated buildup. Especially if the numbers were to be increased beyond current plans.
