As reported by others long before me, @auonsson in particular, it looks like the Danes stopped the suspect Yi Peng 3 yesterday evening.

The ship anchored around 2000z yesterday, accompanied by the Danish Navy, and remains in that position, along with at least one Navy ship

Was this sabotage?

It is too early to conclude.

However, enough information is publicly available, along with the very similar NewNew Polar Bear incident last year, making investigating this as possible sabotage, as Sweden does, the right course of action.

A general observation:

Using merchant ships dragging an anchor is a low cost, low tech, effective, and deniable method of sabotaging seafloor infrastructure.

There are no easy solutions available to counter such a threat.
