🇺🇸🇩🇰 The US State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Denmark of 340 AIM-9X Block II Sidewinder tactical missiles, plus associated equipment and services for an estimated cost of $318.4 million.
Sidewinder unit cost is ~$400,000.
This is for Denmark's F-35s and NASAMS.
The prime contractor would be Raytheon.
"The description and dollar value are for the highest estimated quantity and dollar value based on initial requirements. Actual dollar value will be lower depending on final requirements, budget authority, and signed sales agreement(s), if and when concluded."
