RT @ChristopherJM: It’s hard to overstate the anger and frustration in Ukraine over the energy sector corruption scandal which reaches all the way to Zelensky through his close allies and business partner. It’s palpable. Here's an example of the view from the veteran/military community, via former chief of staff of Azov National Guard unit:
“As long as [justice minister and former energy minister German] Galushchenko and [former deputy prime minister and close friend of Zelensky Oleksiy] Chernyshov do not bear real responsibility...all statements about ‘finding and punishing’ those responsible look like ordinary populism. The lack of real changes in the president’s office, among the leadership of the army and the General Staff directly threatens the sovereignty of the state.
“Either you save your pro-Russian corrupt friends, or you save the state — there is no third option.
“Only the president or the people of Ukraine can make this choice. The second way is the most painful, but if the question of the existence of the state is at stake, and the first does not work — then the people have every right to take responsibility for themselves.”
