@rob_lh: Well Mesquite has 3 lines in that one facility. I'll have some news on UAPLs at some point in the future.

GUR says the Gerbera are 10% the cost of Shahed UAVs, and can be used in a kamikaze and radio-electronic reconnaissance role to locate air defenses. They are built with plywood and styrofoam and Western components from Analog Devices, Texas Instruments, NXP Semiconductors, Atmel, STMicroelectronics, and U-Blox. GUR says they were developed by China's Skywalker Technology Co., Ltd and also contain Chinese components. 3/

@MonkehPutler: They will bid for sure, and be competitive, but I give the edge to Bath. It will be a fight between the Senate & House though, with Chairman Rogers being from Alabama.

@TerpLaursen: 0.19% would've been WW3. And if it were 1%, the world would no longer exist because Russia would launch all its nukes. Don’t even ask about 5% would lead to.

For comparison, in 1994 the US Army had Load, Assemble & Pack facilitization for 867,000 artillery projectiles per month. Metal parts facilitization was 463,700/month. Actual production rates were substantially less and BRAC quickly slashed capacity down to the bone, but it gives you a sense of what the United States was capable of 30 years ago.

During Vietnam and Reagan's defense build up in the 1980s, those figures exceeded 1 million shells per month. https://twitter.com/ColbyBadhwar/status/1858510480895287586#m
