RT @Jeff21461: Just a heads up but Latvia and Croatia are not donating Patriot TEL's to Ukraine.

At best these 2 failed to do any fact checking and mistook the Finnish armoured vehicle manufacturer Patria (of whom Latvia has pledged vehicles to Ukraine) for the US medium to long range air defence system Patriot.

At worst they are knowingly lying for clicks seeing as both tweets are still up 20 and 18 hours later as of time of me posting this.

RT @shashj: This would seem to reinforce the idea that the problem is with US targeting data required for certain sorts of Storm Shadow strikes. “A British defence source said that the UK did not need the support of other countries in Nato to go ahead.”

Work on the BM-21B BelGrad-2 began in May 2020. The vehicle was developed on the basis of another Grad modernization – BM-21A BelGrad. The BM-21A was developed in the late 1990s.
